I love the govvee ice maker. My fridge/freezer ice maker totally died so we got this as a replacement. I was hesitant at first because my mother in law has a counter top ice maker and it is SUPER loud. Thankfully though the Govvee Ice maker is really quiet! You can turn the beeps off for when the ice is full or need to add water from the Govvee app. You can also set up timers. I love the fun lights while it's making the ice and that you can change the colors and styles. The 3 styles of ice are great too! I haven't done much with the medium or large style as my family was very happy with the small bite size pieces. I would highly recommend this ice maker to anyone whose in the market for one ... show more

We got this about a month ago. My wife wanted one because we have a problem filling up ice cube trays and end up leaving one in each tray (by we I mean not me lol). I read up on counter top ice makers, and checked out a bunch of reviews. This one came highly rated. It works just as advertised. I wasn't sure I would like the type of hollow, oval cubes these devices make but it has been fine. We have decided on the larger size ice, but all three sizes work. It's also quick. You will have some cubes in less than 20 minutes. The app you can download to go with it is great. I have it programmed to turn on every day at a set time, and I was able to program the light to show what status the maker is in (standby, making ice, full, needs water etc.) With the discount Amazon had when I bought it. it was more than worth the $140 I paid. ... show more

More than I expected! Less than 1 hour, the basket is full of ice. Less than 1 day, more than 252 large cubic ice were made. used only 3/4 gallon of water. Monitoring and notice are easy to get in the app even I'm not in the kitchen. LED light is visible from far away of ice maker.

I love the efficiency and speed it makes ice. Definitely works well but it keeps way to much. To be honest I am not sure if there is a way to disable them but it can be very annoying

My freezer's ice maker has been broken for at least 6yrs and my home warranty company decided that they would no longer fix it, so we have had to buy ice. I recently bought a whole bunch of ice trays but all of the freezing and twisting makes them break - also with my arthritis, it's difficult some days to twist the ice trays. Ice is a simple convenience/luxury that we take for granted. When Prime Day rolled around, I decided to splurge and finally buy a countertop ice maker. The GoveeLife Smart Ice Maker was affordable and the fact that its a smart appliance made it PERFECT!! I have only had it for running for 2 days but I could not be happier. I love that I can turn it on from my phone, start a cycle and get a notification when the ice bin is full. Set up was sooo simple - all you do is plug it in, fill the tank with water, press start, select the ice cube size and BAM!! The app was easy to get set up as well and the ice maker connected almost immediately (which is quite rare - and I have a lot of smart things in my home). I have yet to try setting up a schedule but with how easy everything else has been, I'm sure it will be just as easy. I LOVE IT AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! ... show more
