Received in a very timely manner. We purchased it for a long trip. It came in and it took me about five minutes to install it. It was super simple and easy. It was a little smaller than I expected but worked great never the less. After filling to it’s max capacity it didn’t make much noise at all. The aerodynamics of it is very good. It didn’t effect our gas mileage barely at all. The opening from both sides is very nice and easy to use. We went through rain and snow as well as washing it off at the car wash. Just the hand sprayer though not the auto one. It didn’t leak at all. In my opinion it is a very good product and well worth the money especially when compared to the more name brands. I purchased this cargo box for some extra room on our 2013 Subaru Crosstrek XV. It seemed like a safe bet since the same vehicle is featured in the product pictures. It did not disappoint. The cargo box was about $200 less than a comparable Thune cargo box. It is so light weight and super easy to install that I installed it on the car on my own. There really was no need for a second person. There has been no road noise from this box with the only exception being items in the box moving around that I did not secure (my fault). Have used this cargo carrier on several trips between Ohio and Colorado. The carrier fits nicely on my 2017 Forester. It stays securely closed and mounted to the roof rails. Have been through several severe thunderstorms and the contents have remained dry. Does add a little bit of wind noise, but is understandable. One down side, it does not fit the integrated roof fails on our 2016 Outback. Other than that, it is a keeper. Especially appreciate the more reasonable price compared to the two 'big name' offerings. ... show more

I finally invested in a hard shell cargo carrier, and this has been fantastic. I have a Subaru Ascent, and it is very easy to access the cargo carrier from either side, sleek, and light weight. It is so easy to put on and remove by myself as a 40yo woman. I'm very pleased with this product so far. I was concerned about the way the box secures to the after market roof rack of my Volkswagen Jetta. My son and I climbed a step ladder and tightened, checked, and rechecked the locking knobs. My worry was for nothing; we took a 700+ round-trip road trip and it stayed perfectly put. We encountered rain and snow, and the contents remained dry. We like the dual side opening feature, too. I do agree that it would be easy to cut through the light material, but we planned for that by always parking in a spot we could see from inside our pit stops, and removed valuable items while it was parked in hotel parking lots and friends driveways. NOTE - No size options offered in their listing, therefore you will need to deal with what you get, while leading brands offer different sizes (14CF, 16CF, 18CF, 20CF, 22CF or L, XL etc) to chose from to fit your vehicle. The product on a whole is nice. Good construction, perfect size for my needs however it won't satisfy my needs as it won't fix the stock 2022 Subaru Outback rails without extending the brackets that hold the clamps. Should have gotten the Thule.
