Features

  • Item No. H20-RS1, come with 1-PC 110-120V/50-60Hz, 2000W, hot tub Thermostat, 2-PCS tube connectors (The tube is not included, you need to prepare an extra 1.5 hoses), suitable for a bathub with 200 gallons, up to 400 gallons.
  • Make sure the direction of the water flow is correct, otherwise it will not work. Minimum working pressure 0.035MPa. we recommended to use at least 0.25HP/200W (1500GPH) pump to work well. The required heating time varies according to the environment and water temperature, so it is recommended to fill the bathtub with hot water instead of cold water to reduce the heating time(better with an insulation cover).
  • By adjusting the temperature button, the thermostat can keep the water temperature between 0C and 45C (32oF~113oF), this thermostat turns on and off automatically according to the temperature you set. If temperature exceed 60C(139oF), reset button will flick out and cut off the power, needing manual reset.
  • Before installing this thermostat, please carefully review the instructions provided in the listing description and follow each step to ensure proper operation. This includes ensuring adequate water flow, correct installation orientation, and the appropriate voltage. After installation, set the temperature correctly to ensure the thermostat functions smoothly.
  • We provide a 1-year quality warranty. If you encounter any issues during installation or use, please contact us promptly. We offer detailed technical guidance, and our support team is available 24/7.

  • worth the money
hi, this is a long details review, mainly the info i couldn't find online when i was searching to buy a pool heater. i have a 16 foot round above ground pool in the NJ area. without heater the water had been very cold and for a past 3 years i have been trying different things to get my pool water to heat up. i tried the solar heater, which only heats about 2 inches of of the water and the remaining water is cold. i tried the solar hating mat and that didn't work. so i wasn't going to put up my pool. when my son gave me the suggestion to use the spa heater for the pool. i did some research and found this heater but no info on if it would heat the 6000 gallon pool. the details state that it won't but i gave a shot anyway. i had to run a new line to the pool. because the existing like was 14 gauge and 15 amp breaker. for this heater plus the pump and light i would need the 30 amp braker. i ran 10 gauge wire with 30 amp braker. i decided to use the sun screen to keep the heat in the pool as it heats up. my starting temperature was around 60-65 degrees. which is cold. i ran my sand pump and the heater for 6 hours a day in starting in the morning and in 2 days the water temperature had reached around 96 which was perfect for kids for enjoying. the heater is small size and the max temperature it will go is around 113 degrees Fahrenheit which is for a spa, but for a pool this size i think if it is able to, it will take it to above 100 degrees Fahrenheit it is perfect. so from my part this device works and i fully recommend. i will add images when i get them. ... show more

  • Don't buy
installed as directed, because there is no way to tell if this product works prior to installation, so once we spent the money on items we needed to install it and the time to find out when we turned the water on it did NOT heat. Needless to say hubby was very upset. Called to see if they could send a replacement, so we could just exchange it out and send back the bad one....NOPE.. refund only...UUUGGGG!!! All that work and money for nothing. ... show more

  • Heats
This works well for a small pool, around 1200 gallons. It heats well so it can most likely do one slightly larger. Getting the correct fitting combination was a challenge to say the least. Some came from a big box store, others from Intex(leaf filters). The picture shows the combination that works without leaking. The blue is a plumbing thread sealer. This unit requires a 30amp circuit and low pressure to work. Maximum pressure is around 40psi which is double of what most sand filters are so if you keep your pool pump and filter clean there shouldn’t be an issue. I would recommend this for a smaller chilly pool or spa and plan on using this unit for years(extended warranty). The unit has a flow sensor inside so you need a decent pump to trigger the heat. Update: The heater still works great into season two. I will say the flow sensor inside needs quite a bit of movement to operate which can be frustrating. Looking back I should have installed the 220v option instead but this one still keeps about 600 gallons at 86 degrees. In the fall it seems to do about 82 degrees but it would be based on your location. ... show more

  • It’s meh
The water flow sensor is actually a microwave door sensor and it is not adjustable at all- it requires an unreasonable amount of water flow to trigger. At 3/4 HP, my pump triggers it intermediately at best. I have bypassed the sensor but now the obvious concern of pump failure haunts my decisions to heat the pool. It takes about 8 hours to bring my ~800 gallon pool to a warm temperature (about 90 degrees). I think that there is a better, cheaper, and safer option for my purpose- heating an 8’ stock tank pool. ... show more

  • Works great for a small pool.
I have a small 12' round pool, about 30" deep and it heats it up nicely. Couple things, Make sure you have a dedicated 20 amp outlet for this as it can draw up to 18 amps. Also make sure your pump has a strong enough flow to activate the switch. Easy way to do this is with an ohm meter. When you have the heater hooked into your system and turned on you should have resistance at the wires, if you don't your flow is not strong enough to trip the switch and you will not get any heat. ... show more

  • Failed after one month
Product is unreliable, worked off and on for one month then failed completely. Was able to read voltage fron thermostat to heater, but will not heat.

  • Not What It's Advertised to be
The promo for this says it is for use outdoors. Once you get it, the literature says clearly that it is for indoor use, only. Promo photos show it being used with an outdoor pool. It is actually made to be used only with an indoor hot tub and connected only with PVC pipe, not with the hoses that connect to a pool filter pump. Also, the threads do not align with standard pool filter hose threads. Also, it takes more robust wiring than a regular outlet, and does not come with a plug head. It is made to be hard wired and has a very short cord. Total waste of money. ... show more

  • Small Intex kids pool
I hooked this up to the 1000 gph intex pool filter for our 9'7"x79" intex pool. I had to bypass the pressure dwitch for it to start heating. So far, it seems to work great. I added a regular 3 prong plug to the libe and plug it in without issues. This is a great solution for heating small pools.
