Directions: Fill bottom section with litter. Place the top section on the lower section by lining up the groves in the top with the tongue section of the bottom section. Place the filter into place on the top of the top section. Push the stem of the artificial plant into the ½” hole on the top of the top section where the filter is located. On top of the filter arrange the decorative moss around the artificial plant to cover the filter. Clean as needed.

The media could not be loaded. This thing blends perfectly into my decor. I bought a few extra faux dangling plants from michaels to add to base of the included plant and I think it looks great. Like other reviews said this thing is big enough for the fat cats. I have a new kitten and he can get in it. I appreciate that It's deep enough that litter won't spill out everywhere when they cover up their deposits. I wanted something inside my little closet besides an ugly enclosed litter box. I see what people say about being kind of a pain to line up but I just did the right and left corners at the same time and then pushed the back into position. It doesn't stay all that great if your moving it around it will easily pop out but I think I little piece of gorilla tape in the back will sure it up and provide extra reinforcement. I'm willing to deal with it for the look of it. Oh and a tip on installing the moss...spread it a bit make a hole in the center and then pop the plant through the hole and into the top of the holder. Overall, Esthetically pleasing, no spill, quality plastic, plant doesn't look to cheap or super fake, leaves come in different shades of green to give the illusion of new growth, my kitten used immediately when I put him in it. ... show more

This litterbox is a great size for my three cats. One of the cats is about 20 lbs, and uses the box without any problems. The planter and plant look good, and it's a great idea for concealing the litter box. The lid comes off easily. I have two complaints which make this a 4 star instead of 5. My cats pull the grass from around the plant base and scatter it everywhere. I may end up gluing it in place or using rocks. The litter box lid has to be put on perfectly lined up so it doesn't fall down into the box. Regardless of both of these complaints, I'd buy it again. ... show more

There are some cosmetic imperfections (color swirls visible and raised edge at seam). Seems sturdy. I was confused about reviewers who said putting the top back on is difficult, so I’ll explain: the lower rim is narrow and flexible so it moves around a bit and doesn’t line up if you just set the top on. Instead, you must line up the edges of the opening and work backwards from there. Can be tricky, but not hard. The “moss” is a bit messy and the faux plants not the highest quality, but it’s the best looking (& most expensive) cat box I’ve ever owned. Our 8 week old kittens took right to it (I left the lid off and put a box as a step for the first few days; now the lid is back on and they don’t need the step). The opening is wide enough to reach in and scoop without removing the top. I paired with the 3 pack of reusable liners (kittens are boys, so I wanted extra coverage). It’s larger than I thought it’d be so the kitty boys will fit as adults and I think the quality will hold up too. Would recommend for homes that, like ours, have no spots to hide a litter box. ... show more

    • Looks good and keeps the litter tracking down

Was easy to assemble. Line up the two parts and put into place. I put a flat round corian cutting board (leftover from projects) in the bottom before filling with cat litter. That keeps the bottom from getting scratched and makes scooping the litter a breeze. I threw out the fake decorative grass. Will replace that with stones. I was too concerned my cats would eat it and get sick. The plant isn't that great but if you fluff it out, it looks halfway decent. Of course it still lets some odor out of the front opening, but I scoop daily so no problem for us. I don't see any sense in the top filter. Any dust will just come out of the front opening. Our older male cat likes to stand and pee/spray sometimes, so this litter box is the perfect solution for him. This was the only box I found (after reading reviews and researching) where the pee hitting the back wall will run down into the box and not sit in the groove where the two pieces come together. The litter tracking is much less than with our old box and that's definitely a plus! The material of the litter box is a bit flimsy - could be thicker. Once together and filled it is stable enough to not fall apart or tip. Overall I like the litter box, think it's a bit overpriced for what you're getting but can still recommend it. ... show more
