I've ordered this and other sets from Amazon and these are hands down the best. The picture without the tan tapes shows the dark brown mixed with some chestnut and dark wafts next to a new set. These have been applied twice for four weeks at a clip and they are freshly washed and air dried, not even brushed yet and not styled ready to get tapes go back in. I think they would absolutely go six to eight weeks but my grays come in and I have to take them out for touch up. Why I love them: * I rarely have one slide using this companies tapes. This is normally an issue for me. * The browns do not look brassy this is a tremendous issues with the other brands * They hold the style and shine. I normally wash every three to four days. When I apply them I pinch the tape part in a flat iron for a few seconds. It helps to seal the tape. I do not wear my hair in a bun when I sleep, so they get pulled on between with my twisting and turning and DH smushing them under his cuddles. Yes they are a little bit of a pain to take out. I slide a rat tail comb in and spray a remover in between the wafts. They pull apart easily this way after a few minutes with little to no damage to my hair. I prefer that they're harder to take out, I often have problems with other tapes sliding or falling out after a week or so. I've use Nexxus Therappe shampoo and conditioner. They seem to work well together, as you can see in the picture they're super shiny and smooth with just an air dry. I also spray them with various heat protection prior to heat styling. I also have the same sets of wafts in different browns and blondes for summer, they look just as nice after two to three applications. I store them clipped at the top in the bags they come in. My only complaint if any is that the company sends fake lashes as a gift. I don't wear fake lashes and I think a much nicer gift would be an extra set of tapes. I have tried about five other brands, some much more expensive and some in this range, by far these are the best bang for the buck and look great after months of wear. ... show more

I am so disappointed in this product. I researched these extensions for days on end and decided on these. I was very surprised upon opening the packages how the ends are far from the thickness advertised. Putting 2 packages together would give me 100grams which is typically the amount of hair in a traditional weft track that I previously used. I figured this would suffice. I was wrong. I really wanted to cry. I had stopped using the glue in extensions cause they were irritating my scalp so I switched to wigs but they become cumbersome and I wasn't loving the synthetic material. So I decided to try these tape ins. I had them professionally installed and was not really loving the look but it would do for now I supposed. Well today I did the first wash , a full 3 days after install, with super gentle shampoo no extra chemicals or oils and I was so careful applying and rinsing . Running my fingers gently thru it to separate the layers to avoid tangling one fell out. Then another . And another . Until I realize almost one package had come out. I can't just pull the remaining out. My attempts to reattach were comical and I wound up wasting the extra tape getting it stuck everywhere except the hair. Returning hair thats been attached to my head is kinda disgusting. Plus isnt it sort of a health issue? I wouldn't want to be the person responsible for opening used hair returns! ●not as nice and full on ends as advertised ●fell out on first wash ●now I'm out $170 (2 pkgs)cause i can't really return them ●and the cost for the stylist to install I thought I picked a good product. No, I was not paid nor did I recieve anything for this review. I'm doing it to save somebody money and trouble. I wish i had know this stuff when i started with tape in years and years ago.I like an ash mix (to me is a light browninsh blonde) then highlighted to blonde then bleach blonde. Some of these with the same name and code have been known to look more strawberry blonde highlighted golden blonde then yellow blonde but called ash mix too. The numbers that companies share meaning certain colors are not always going to be the same and match right. Anyway,they accept returns and try it get it right for you. So i gave it 5 stars anyway. Plus this is the longest lasting tape ins in good shape I've ever tried! But here is why.... . I've learned the hard way to look for rating of the hair itself, like 7.5 - 9.0(usually in small print) of it shows no rating ot probably doesnt deserve one. The hair industry are not very strict about making companies show their numbers of their type and condition by ratings. I also look for the thickness straight ends of the hair and just more important the weight of the hair. I wear 16 to 18 inch in length. I wear 2pks sometimes 3pks if each pack doesn't weight at least 50g of weight per set at that length I dont buy them any more. Good ones last longer and sunce they do you save money since you dont have to throw them away and buy more anywhere near as often because the quality ones last so much longer. It has way less tangleability (if that's a word) and almost no fuzzing up at the back of the neck and below. Lastly but maybe the most important thing whether you buy inexpensive, normal price or high end human hair, I've learned to buy the shampoos and conditioners that have no sulfates or phosphates that strip the hair like laundry detergent cleans clothes. They both have those ingredients sometimes under different names but they wear out the material of your clothes and can make your hair brittle especially if it's already dry. You wouldn't want to strip tape in hair because it has no way to put the oil it needs back in it so it becomes a tangled fuzz ball worsee than driving down the road in the back of the truck bed by the tail gate or a motor cycle with no helmet.( this wàs before seatbelt and helmet laws)couldn't believe the difference. I'd tried everything else including oil,gel and leave in conditioner. I don't need any of that now, other than a little conditioner on the ends of my real hair. I didn't plan to write this much but thought it might save people money and frustration pulling out tangled hair. It was an expensive lesson for stubborn me. I didn't think something so simple could matter so much in the look and feel of tape ins! Buy decent ones like these and shampoo and conditioner that is REALLY free from thr things I mentioned and anything else you can't pronounce. I dint think I can say a brand but I can maybe say it starts with an N _ _ _ _ e It's around 18 for both shampoo and conditioner. This is my opinion and review. Thanks for reading.
