Iā€™m not sure if I was unlucky enough to receive a defective product but I have not had a good experience with this light. I had bought it as a Christmas gift and by the 2 month mark it started to have weird problem with turning on and we assumed it was the wall plug in itself. We did some moving of the wall plugs and even switched out end pieces but eventually it just stopped working altogether. I play with it time to time to see if I can get it to work and sometimes itā€™ll power on without pressing the button or the light on the switch would turn on but no actual lighting. Disappointing overall, just go to your local Walmart and skip the delivery fee. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So this ring light is super efficient. Itā€™s fairly simple to use. With the remote, a quick click will take a photo, but I havenā€™t really figured out if the video is a double click and a hold for the button, or just a double click and then click it when itā€™s done, or just to hold the button, or what. It seems to work differently with different apps. And sometimes it will connect just fine to my Snapchat, and other times it doesnā€™t register as the camera clicker, but instead it turns my phone volume up when I click the button. Itā€™s super weird. Havenā€™t tried it with TikTok yet, but hopefully I donā€™t have the same problem. Other than that, itā€™s color features are cool, the height is super easy and convenient to move around and change, and itā€™s fairly easy to assemble and take apart. The most difficult part in the assembly is the different phone holders and how they actually go around and latch to the tripod pole. Also, the user manual doesnā€™t have much helpful information for trouble shooting, and there isnā€™t much online either for trying to figure out the complications with it. But all in all, itā€™s a really cool product to have. I look forward to playing with it more and trying to get the proper technique down to working it. The media could not be loaded. I use this for creating on tiktok and other social media. I can change the colors for whatever gives me the best lighting. And I can take pics thru the remote, Very easy to put together, lightweight, great Phone Holder, great value for the money!

Remote works well just idles if you take too long between pictures so we have to click once to wake it from idle then again to take the picture, but that's not even a big deal. It's a great Ring light. It has lots of functions and it works real well but the legs are weak and have broken after only one month of use. If you make the legs stronger than it would be a great product.
