Looks nice, very secure with 5 locking bolts. Has carpeted interior and barrel rest, as well as an upper shelf which are nice features. Comes with two backup keys, mounting hardware and a 9 volt battery for the keypad, which is simple and easy to set up. I can easily fit four rifles and one shotgun inside, maybe more if I wanted to pack them in really tightly. Advertising it as an 8-gun safe is a little too optimistic, but that's the same as what I've seen for pretty much every safe available on Amazon. I have mine set up with handgun hooks and magazine racks hanging from the shelf to utilize all the extra space inside. Mine arrived with the box pretty beat up and has some scratches on the bottom corners due to the box being damaged, but that's not a big deal for me since the scratches aren't readily apparent. If you want a decent gun safe that won't hurt your wallet nearly as much as those top-of-the-line ones, this is a good option for you. ... show more

So many of the reviews for this product are right on target. A good safe, that holds fewer long guns than advertised, but meets my needs. Arrived a little dinged up but nothing major considering it's not a piece of furniture that is out in the open. The barrel rest shelf arrived broken but easily repaired with a 3 inch mending plate purchased at Home Depot (see photo). I installed the mending plate across the break line from the underside. Did the trick and can't be seen. Putting a new passcode in simple with the instructions provided. All in all, satisfied with the purchase. The safe was exactly what I was looking for. It has room for at least 6 rifles and has a top shelf that does not lock separately (which is a specific detail I wanted). The door has nice security bolts, which lock the safe securely. My only complaint is that my safe was delivered slightly banged up and it was the last one in stock, so sending it back didn't sound appealing. The company gave me a small discount, which was fine, since it probably wasn't their fault the safe was damaged during delivery. Overall I am very happy with it. ... show more

I got this safe on sale for $275, not bad but it's a lot smaller than I thought. I don't have the finger print reader, I have the digital key pad lock. This safe fits my currents needs, but it should not cost over $200 buck. That's just my opinion. My original Stack-on safe (I still own) is much much bigger & thicker than this one, and it cost me just under $300, 5 years ago. ... show more

    • It works fine, but I expected more for the price.
There is no hole on the bottom of the gunsafe to bolt to floor, only in the back. Also, the handle feels flimsey. It works fine, but I expected more for the price.

This safe is a lot smaller than it appears. It barely fits a Maverick 88 shotgun with a 28 inch barrel. The shelf is tiny, and most pistol hangers don't fit on it. The door opens but because it is so thick, it blocks most of the opening, which makes having multiple guns in this safe tough to pull out quickly in an emergency situation. If the safe wasn't so heavy, I would consider returning it, and paying a tad bit more for a wider safe. For what it is though, it is well built and feels secure...just way too thin. ... show more

good solid budget safe. walls are a little thin compared to the more expensive safes. but it will keep what you put in it in it. came with mounting hardware and looks very nice. carpet in side the safe is very nice. the only issue i had was the one of the small screws that holds up the name plate and hides the lock out key access was missing. ... show more
