I had an alternative use in mind when I bought this. I wanted a sheer curtain that would go all around my double egg glider to give a light ethereal vibe and of course block out bugs. This worked perfectly. There is a circle wire hoop at the top with a hanging loop but it worked well enough just placed on top of my glider frame, which is excellent. There is no split opening in the netting, so I used some magnetic curtain tiebacks to hold it in place and open when I don’t want to have it covered completely. Unlike a sheer curtain, the netting is open enough to keep the air and breeze coming through but small enough to keep out mosquitoes. I love it. The dogs didn’t care either way. ... show more

I'm tired of trying All the sprays, lotions, and scents I'll just leave them be Mosquitos have been a huge problem for me here in Central Texas. For years. I've tried all sorts of insecticides and repellents. All-natural, most definitely not all-natural, zappers, swatters, bracelets, ultrasonic sound devices, and more. It is a constant battle, so I've decided to call a truce and see if both sides can just co-exist peacefully. I just want us to co-exist in our own personal spaces. So I bought this mosquito net and hung in on a nail on my patio arbor and positioned my old-man rocking chair right under it. The net now completely surrounds me and my chair when I am outside. It seems to work. I still see the pesky things buzzing all around, lusting for me through the netting, but they don't get through. I can read or visit or contemplate life in peace. Plus, I feel kinda fancy sitting on my royal throne covered with soft, gauzy curtains. It is a good length & width and easy to hang. It is just ever so slightly too delicate for my purposes, which is why it is a four-star instead of five. The first day, the back of my rocker caught the bottom and ripped a small hole in it. This product is average. It took a few weeks to arrive to the United States from China. The top of the net has a flexible wire that I had to manipulate so it would be centered.I shall had to play around with the netting so it would not be lopsided.there is no hook to attach to the ceiling for you to hang it sop I had to buy that. I had to cut an opening in it since there was no opening. It comes to the queen size mattress but not to the floor. I have had several of these in the past and I guess since it's very inexpensive you can't expect too much. If you want something high quality spend the extra money. I think if you have a baby crib or small single bed this would be ok but I don't think it is good for a queen size. It is not a jumbo size as advertised. Years ago, I traveled extensively to Africa and mosquito nets were a must. I decided to purchase the GOLF 1PCS Mosquito Nets, Insect Bug Protection Bed Canopy to use outside to cover a hammock. I wasn't sure it would work since other mosquito repellants had failed, but it was a delight. Easy to install and long enough to afford complete cover. All summer, as weather permitted, I sat out under the net and read in complete comfort. I bought this to hang over my small patch of black raspberries to keep the birds from eating the fruits before they are harvested. Finding netting of the right texture, that I can hang that is the right size is challenging. Netting by the yard is expensive. For what I needed, this pretty much does the job. While, ideally, it would be longer for my purposes, I am not using it as designed, so I will take what I can get. It doesn't quite reach the ground on my patch, but it does cover most of my berry brambles. I have been watching to make sure birds are not going up under it to reach the berries (or getting trapped) and so far, so good. I like that it is a nice, soft, flexible and slightly stretchy mesh, which is great for getting it to cover the patch. And for the price, I can't really beat it. Actual garden mesh is terribly overpriced and stiff. This is soft so it doesn't damage the very delicate berry branches and will flex as the berries fill out. The white allows plenty of sun to get through without shading the plants. Definitely considering buying a second one to add length. ... show more
