I have unruly, wavy hair and do Japanese straightening perm a few times a year but it still gets frizzy and unmanageable between treatments. And I color my hair as well so the damage would be apparent if I didn't treat it right (Japanese straightening and color don't go well together). This shampoo helps my hair a lot - it moisturizes my hair, makes it smooth to the touch, gives shine and minimizes frizziness. My hair has become much more manageable since I started using this shampoo. However, it's a little heavy. I can feel my hair weighing down and also getting greasy the next day. I think it has a strong moisturizing formula that causes to weigh hair down and my scalp to get oily. But my scalp is oilier than the average, so it should be fine if you have normal to dry scalp. ... show more

I've been using the Kerasilk formula for years,I highly recommend it. I don't use it for every shampoo, more as a bi- weekly treat for my hair. It leaves my hair feeling like spun silk.

This is a first shampoo I used that made my hair super soft without even conditioner. Such a great product. Wish they made bigger ones for a cheaper price. It’s great either way

I love the products and have used them for a while. My issue is that when the shampoo arrived, it had leaked out and made a sticky sudsy mess and I’m not sure how much product was lost in this messy shipment. That’s the only reason for four stars vs five. Amazon, do better.
