Tested with 3 charge / discharge-cycles and the results are constant and very close to the provided specifications. The Battery management system (BMS) does its job and shuts off if discharged too low (but a bit lower than the specified 10V). It also disconnects and saves the battery in case of very high current draw (like in case of a shortening the battery contacts). I purchased these for my Humminbird Bird Helix, and they work great for the task. I made two battery boxes from ammo boxes to keep them dry while on the kayak, which I highly recommend, as these are not waterproof.
