I started with hatred and disaster and ended with love and disaster with this Banjo tape. I'm not sure if all banjos perform this way, but using it was incredibly messy, like white muck falling from the ceiling. Using the typical drywall mud consistency was very difficult, and the suggested thinner consistency was also a mess. Essentially, the process is always messy. I used this banjo over four days, two hours each day. On the first day, I hated it. On the second day, I still hated it. The third day was just okay, and by the last day, I loved it because I finally learned how to use it properly. However, it remained messy throughout, though each day got a bit less messy. In just eight hours of work, I managed to tape the drywall for an entire house, all the ceilings and 30% of the walls in a 672-square-foot home. For my first time, I believe this banjo tape made the job incredibly fast. Not to mention, cleaning up afterward took me an additional 10-30 minutes each day, as I like to leave my tools looking brand new after every use ... show more

I found this Banjo easy to use. I am a novice mudder and taper. I had never before used a Banjo. This made my taping and mudding much faster and cleaner than my previous methods. Im finishing my basement, and so far i love it. Needs frequent refills, but is easy to use , saves tons of time and is light. But is messy for sure.
