The media could not be loaded. I went on a camp out recently that had a high chance of heavy rain. The only tarp I had that was big enough to cover my tent and make an awning was my Gold Armour 14.7x12. We had everything from a light drizzle, to ground shaking thunderstorm, to a night so muggy you could cut the air. This tarp kept us dry through every single drop. Sadly, while drying out on the clothesline once we were back home, a significant corner of the tarp got chewed up by the lawnmower. Since we still have several more potentially rainy camps ahead of us, I will definitely be ordering at least one more 14.7x12! ... show more

Seems like an absolutely awesome tarp!! I put this up over my tent in my way back yard. It was supposed to rain that night, and I wanted to test how waterproof it really was. It was working PERFECTLY every time I went to check on it!! Totally impressed! All of the sudden, the tornado sirens went off, and I had zero time to go out back and take the stakes out and whatnot!! However, it actually kept my tent dry, until a tornado hit less than a mile away. It wasn’t the tornado that made a huge hole in it, it was one of my tent poles snapping in half that tore through it! I’m so bummed-because it seemed like a versatile, totally waterproof, lightweight tarp, dangit!! I bought some stuff to repair it, but haven’t had the chance yet. I was just so bummed that I didn’t take it down before the tornado hit. Anyway, I’d buy it again..totally worth it!! ... show more

This is a very well made product. I like that all seams are double stitched. The one thing I am most happy about is all the tie downs on this tarp. Opened it and checked it out , Very Well Made ,Looks Great, Excellent Stitching. Think it's a winner . Will review again after first camping trip use. The storage bag could be bigger ,took two tries rolling it tight to get back in.

Bought this for a tri[p to Boundary Waters. There are so many tie outs that this can be configured in many ways. It kept us dry in high winds and several rains. I have seen tarps with tougher looking tie outs but this one never failed in any way during our 10 day trip. I would recommend this to anyone unless you want a ultra light tarp as this one was a little heavy compared to a Dyneema or the likes. I highly recommend this one. ... show more

Found it with broken tab out of bag. tried to set it up and it tore out 5 more of the tabs. Absolute junk!!!! I would gladly give it negative stars if that was possible. And it was my fault for not checking it out better when I got it, but now I am past the return date.

Great tarp. love the tieouts loops on the side panels. My only wish is that they would pack the tarp in a bigger stuffed sack. It’s impossible to get it back in there, especially, on a windy day. Buy snakeskins to make the packing easier. Enjoy.
