These blinds were exactly what I was looking for to block the sun from our sliding door. Our only issue was a few of the hardware pieces were missing so we had to spend the morning at the hardware store finding screws and nuts that worked because they were not standard or metric. Once we had everything we needed it was very easy to install. We did use much bigger screws for the wall so they stayed out but that was our choice not because they weren’t present. ... show more

I bought these for a window that is less than 60' tall, so had to cut the shades off and put a bar at the bottom to keep them from unraveling...which is what the mfg recommends and is included. There was SO MUCH waste that I cut away from the bottom for them to fit. It seems that this company would sell them in different sizes. When hanging the 'pulls' on each end of the shade...there is a small plastic piece that is supposed to slip on the edge to protect from wear and tear. When putting this on, it caused some raveling because there was such a small opening. Now, it keeps falling off...so I'm going to have to deal with that some other way. Bottom line...I love the look...but have to now worry that my almost $200 will be wasted once/if the shade starts raveling. ... show more

I strongly dislike vertical blinds. Having 3 sliding glass doors in my house, I looked for alternative solutions for privacy. I installed this on the door in my hallway. I like how it lies nearly flat against the door without taking up much space. It has a sleek and modern design. I do think the product is way overpriced, though. The panels are made of paper. Paper shouldn’t cost this much. Further, you will need to cut these panels to length, which is frustrating and could cause you to have 4 panels of varying lengths. I did a good job cutting them perfectly, but if I had been in a hurry, it probably wouldn’t have turned out so well. From start to finish, this took about 2.5 hours to install. ... show more

I like to think of myself as a novice handyman. I’m always looking for a new project around my house. Some projects are bigger than others, and sometimes what looks pretty simple quickly ends up being way over my skill set. Of all the projects I’ve ever done, installing these sliding curtains might be the easiest thing I’ve ever tackled. My house has a laundry area in the hallway with these old wood accordion style doors that were a pain. Sure, they hid the laundry area fine, but if you were doing laundry, these doors would be open and sticking into the hallway making it nearly impossible to get by without closing them. Every time I’d pass them I’d think, I got to find a better solution. Finding these sliding curtains was perfect because not only were they long enough to span the doorway, but the style instantly upgrade the look and feel as well. I’ve used a similar product for my sliding glass doors, but the construction and quality of this brand is by far superior. The best part is, the installation was so simple! Five screws and it’s done! Great product over all and although I think the price was a little higher than I wanted to pay, the quality and fresh look my hallway now has was worth the cost. I buy all kinds of products through Amazon, but I rarely leave reviews. This product deserves the extra effort. And I never have to swear at those old roadblock doors again! ... show more

These panels work well in front of my deck sliding door. They were well packaged and all parts were included. The installation instructions were okay, but I also went to the website to watch the installation video. There is flexibility with installation so you need to choose the installation method that works best for your application. The overall instructions could have been a little better. But it all worked out well in the end. The only parts I didn't like were the wall anchors. The screws got stuck inside the anchor and if you force turned them, the anchor actually started turning within the wall. I had to use my own anchors which worked MUCH better. The panels were easily cut to size and the bottom weighted bars were easily attached. The panels attach to the rails with Velcro (hook and loop system). That seems adequate and it allows fine adjustment. The only issue I have is that the sliding of the rails is not completely smooth. Sometimes it gets caught and I have to force it. That occurs opening and closing. These particular panels do not block out all light, but that is what I wanted. But they provide good privacy. I like the more "modern" look and the varying shapes and colors on the panels. Overall, I'm quite pleased. ... show more

Used these to replace some really old looking bi-fold doors when we installed a new closet set up. They were perfect! It's definitely a bit challenging to hang up the panels so that they are even, but I think we did an ok job. Also, I didn't love the pull rods banging around on the side of the closet, so we removed those and just use our hands to move the panels. ... show more
