I looked for awhile for curtains for my office and settled on two sets of panels - this and a lightblocking set. The good: -The design goes together clean. -Not hard to assemble (aside from the anti-fray clips, very tricky) -Light coming through is very nice, good color and pattern The bad: -They're just curtains, not "panels". Its thin fabric hung with velcro on runners. I'm not sure why they're so expensive. They also look much cheaper from any angle other than dead on, and don't block as well, since they have no depth. -The rail is pretty noisy. I haven't tried greasing it yet, but it probably should have come with some. -The rail isn't perfectly smooth. Despite being level, there are bumps that require more force to get the curtain over. Grease might help, or maybe it's intentional to help positioning, but it is just annoying. The neutral: -If you have a full glass wall, realize there is no way to fully open these without blocking some glass. Not sure why, but I thought these would also turn like vertical blinds to take up minimal space when open. My bad, obviously, but in case anyone buying also didn't think of the space where they would go when open. Overall, they're not a bad solution - just a tad expensive and cheaper looking/feeling in person. ... show more

This was an easy way for us to create a separation from our kitchen to the living room. We have a second refrigerator that we placed between the two rooms so it is mainly used to hide the back of the refrigerator from the living room and we can extend the panel to go all the way across to totally separate the two rooms. Struggled getting the panels to hang parallel. Otherwise very easy to install. Looks great dividing our sun room and open floor plan making for some great utility and flexibility of space.

These were relatively easy to hang. Make sure to allow enough time. Took a little longer than I intended, but I didn't want to mess up. If I buy another set for my other doors, I think it will be easier. They slide from both sides which is a nice feature. I attached evening pictures and morning sun pictures. They let light in, but not enough to really heat up the kitchen. I'm very happy with our choice on these. ... show more

These are phenomenal. The material is hard and sturdy so a/c blowing won't be moving them around. They're sheet, but the sun doesn't come through in such a way that it blinds you. It's a very light amount of sunlight. My husband installed the entire thing in about an hour. He said it was very simple. We mounted them on the side and not in the frame since we have very tall ceilings. Because of this we did not cut the shading. ... show more

    • Nice change from the old vertical type.
They are holding up pretty well, but fraying on the edges where our dog moves them around. Would like additional plastic end pieces that actually stay on better. They do provide nice sheer coverage & privacy while still allowing light so the room is not dark.
