  • Bad batch?
Definitely a disappointment. So far about 20% of the gloves I've put on split either instantly or within a couple of minutes. Maybe it's just a bad batch, but I'm not going to order them again to find out. Update: Gave up on the box after busting 10 gloves in a row. Definitely not buying again.

  • Over priced
The gloves use to be adequate. They are just gloves. They aren't amazing and sometimes you find defective ones. I have used them for a couple of years and was fine with the defects till the virus came along and they jacked up the price. They use to be $10 for a box of 100 in case you were wondering. I have a subscription to them and they are supposed to send me a box every month. Now they only send me one box every 4 months and constantly tell me they are out of stock. They are price gouging because people are scared. ... show more

  • Great Gloves
I have used about half of my first box of these 5 mil gloves. I use them to protect my hands from drying out when working in the garden or when I sculpt clay. I bought "large" based on my knowledge of how this brand fits my hands. I wanted them to be tight. This 5 mil thickness is just right for pulling them on (no powder). You can really yank on the wrists to pull them down over you fingers and they won't tear. Thinner ones just tear off at the wrist. I wear these because I have eczema, and these are great for protection. ... show more

  • Reek of Chemicals
I have used powder-free nitrile gloves in the kitchen, lab, brewery, and studio for years and I can say honestly I've never before even had to think about what they smelled like - because any scent they hold is faint and familiar regardless of brand or style. These gloves absolutely reek of chemicals. I ordered them about a month ago as I began running low on a different brand; tonight I ran out, opened the new box of these gloves, and began kneading my bread. Within moments I began to wonder if somehow my dough had picked up a nasty bacteria due to the sickly chemical aroma coming from the dough. I realized it was not my dough -- now wasted -- but was coming from these gloves. ... show more

  • Good fit and a thick dependable feel
First of all I would say I have slightly larger than normal hands for a man. Just from handshake feel I would say. From the base of my palm to the tip of my ring finger my hands are 7 3/4 inches long. So I wasn't sure what size gloves to buy. Large or Extra-Large? I settled on size L because I wanted to be sure they fit me tightly because nothing bothers me more about gloves than not being able to grab something properly because of a loose fitting glove. These fit me perfectly!!. Tight, but not hard to put on my hands. The overall feel is great. Every finger fits the same, no abnormalities. The first time I used them was for prepping some food. This is the main reason for my purchase, food prep. I opened the package of meat and prepped it for seasoning. I then washed my gloved hands with soap and dried them. Gloves showed no signs of wear so I used them to prep and season the meat, then washed my gloved hands again. Gloves still did not show any wear signs after washing my hands twice with HOT water. I completed the meat prep and just to test the gloves I washed them again and again they showed ZERO signs of wear. At this point I kept the gloves on and tried to use my Iphone and surprisingly THEY WORKED WITH THE TOUCH SCREEN. These gloves are great and I recommended them to my bbq buddies. I will definitely purchase these again when I run out. I cant recommend these more!! ... show more

  • No More Tears. Get it....
Great product. I don't have another nitrile brand to compare it too, as these are the first I've used. I use these mostly for food serving/ bar tending, def looks better than white doctor gloves. Only had one rip out of around 15 pairs, and I think it was a ME issue. The cheap white ones I used to buy always ripped. Also work with machinery, and I know these will work great, seem very durable. No odor or powder, really no complaints so far. ... show more

  • A lot less mess when manhandling food
I no longer miss the days of trying to generously season or break down meat with one hand while the other hand tries to successfully hold or flip the meat with a tongs. Now, I can go all in while seasons, marinating or breaking down a chicken, a roast, or anything I feel like working on in the kitchen. The gloves have a surprising grip. They're durable. And with 100 in the box, I'm not trying to get more out of them than is necessary. I throw a pair on, season a pork butt. Flip it over. Season the other side. Then take off the gloves to do another task. What's that? I need to cut some onions (on a new or cleaned cutting board, of course) but I don't want stinky onion hands? No worries, I've got 98 more gloves to help in that department. The black gloves also give me an awesome false-positive of feeling like a real chef. In my mind, I'm filming my next Netflix epidode. In real life, I'm just an ambitious home cook trying to keep his hands clean while making a delicious meal. All in all - good gloves, good price and they're of a good quality. Definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Excellent Gloves ... pricey
These are heavy duty nitrile gloves I use for working around the house. They're of excellent quality and will continue buying them. My one complaint, which may be a sign of the times, is they're expensive. You can get thinner (3-4mil) nitrile gloves at Harbor Freight but they are definitely not of the same quality as the Ammex. Need a strong, reliable protective glove? These are for you.... just be prepared to pay up for it. ... show more
