To understand where I'm coming from, I do not need these to be amazing earbuds in the way of audio. I needed earbuds that stay in my ears while I'm riding the train, or walking around. That being said, I always prefer better audio than worse audio. I don't have any complaints about the audio. The last time I have used similar earbuds was over four years ago with the Jaybird X2. Personally, I don't feel like this technology has improved much since then. Compared my memories of the Jaybird X2 from over four years ago, I have several big complaints in terms of usability: 1. The bit in the middle. The heaviest part of these earbuds comes in the very middle of the wires. This guarantees that this thing will be weighted straight downwards between your ears. This makes it so that whenever you move your head, this thing will move around like a pendulum going everywhere. Also it moves uncomfortably behind your neck if you do decide to move it around your neck. 2. The wires are too short to wrap around your neck, or have any way to keep the said bit in the middle from going everywhere. I would prefer if I could do so such that even if one of the earbuds fell out, it wouldn't swing into oblivion with nothing preventing it from falling out other than a single other earbud stuck in my other ear. 3. A lack of a provided clip to keep it out of the way to dangle. Even if there was a clip, between the shortness of the wire, the dangly middle bit, and the volume control part, there wouldn't be a very good place to clip anything. 4. I suppose this is specific to switching from the Jaybird, but the fins used to really help keep the things in my ear. My conclusion: It sounds fine, but there are enough small quirks that annoy me enough to wish I bought something else. ... show more

The sound quality on these earbuds is pretty good, especially for the price. Unfortunately, what has driven me away from this design after using them for a couple of years is that the cover of the USB-C charging port is very poorly designed. After a few uses, it becomes pretty tricky to put back into place; this actually lead to a chip in the casing around the port. ... show more

It's got good sound and battery. Mainly, the weight is distributed pretty unevenly and the cord is too short so it will frequently get ripped out of your ear. Great for sedentary work, not great if you're moving much.

    • If you're an audiophile, ultimately not worth it. Just buy the neckband model.

No hate. And I prefer a neckband headphone. But these are the cheapest headphones Sennheiser was capable of making, and honestly I respect that. Because these are not cheap, and they do in fact sound amazing! Again the cheapest they can go and still be them. The sound is incredible! Light airy, the thinnest vail between you and your music. But that's about it, everything else is as cheap as it can go. It's just a thin cable with a couple of boxes on it. And the boxes are unbalanced, so if you like to have one earbud out, or have them hanging down while you are not using them (which is nice when you work with your hands) with these unbalanced boxes the set will slide right off you. Also because of how thin they are, if you are wearing a jacket it easily gets lost in your clothing. What I'm saying is that as soon as I got them I wanted to write a review about how easy it would be to lose them, and I lost them 3 days later. They're all black, so maybe archeologists will find them when they dig up my apartment in 100 years. ... show more

    • Good for TV usage at night

The weight of these is almost unnoticeable, and the latency between them and my 2016-model Samsung TV is barely present and totally fine for lip sync’d media (tv/YouTube/movies)… the sound is very clear and good for vocals and dialog but certainly lacks in the low end, even for in-ear models. I wouldn’t expect music or theater experiences with these but for my use (mostly YouTube dialogue) they are absolutely perfect. The charging port is kind of annoying to get at. My unit charged for two hours and still showed a red LED. They don’t support fast charging or USB-PD (aka 15v) delivery. Pairing with the TV was easy. Don’t bother with the smartphone app, it literally does nothing except open a browser to Sennheiser online documentation. Pointless waste of space. ... show more

I have found these earbuds to be the most comfortable, reliable, and longest lasting regarding battery life than others I have tried. They last well over four hours of constan. I don’t use them longer than that in one sitting so I can’t say if they would last 8 to 9 hours.
