I have done that with this pitcher several times over the past few days and I love it! I really like that the pitcher is glass (fewer microplastics), and that it seals completely. This is the best of 3 different makes of diffuser I've tried for making cold brew and this is by far the best. Have gone through 5 cycles without a hint of "sludging" normally seen with the others. Simply place coarse-ground and sifted beans into diffuser and leave in the fridge for 18-24h Bonus: the components are simple, apparently durable, and dismantle well for easy cleaning. one note: post-brew, the filter has a bit of "stretch", simply ignore the stretch, rinse, and it will return to proper form as it dries for next use. ... show more
