I've had this for a few months now, and I love it. Previously, I'd use my gas 3300 psi power washer to power wash my cars, but it was noisy the entire time I used it, and there was always a setup time to get the gas unit out of storage, gas it up, and connect all of the hoses. No longer... Love my Giraffe Pressure Washer. I mounted mine next to my hose bib in the garage and put a "Y" connector in with shutoff valves and quick disconnect fittings to keep it connected full-time unless winterizing it. I eventually replaced the source line provided in the kit with a shorter, more flexible 3-foot hose and 90-degree fitting to manage it better in my installation. I've also put quick-connect fittings on the sprayer since I use a shorter stubby handle when washing cars. Those fittings aren't included, but no one includes them; you must always purchase them if you want that feature. As you can see in my picture, it snow foams pretty awesomely. This is using Chemical Guys Snow Foam, but anything should work. The soap bottle and nozzle have pressure and stream adjustments to cater to your preferred mix. I appreciate that there is a place to store the bottle on the power sprayer chassis when not in use. There's a delay you can get used to that doesn't occur on gas-powered sprayers... because it's not immediately up to pressure on the trigger pull... I don't mind this because I enjoy the silence of it, not constantly running. It's quieter than gas, even when it's running. 5/5 love the convenience and the functionality. The pressure is good for car washing. I enjoy 3300psi or higher for cleaning concrete quickly and with cleaning discs. This 2400 will also clean concrete, but it takes longer for that use case. The best part is that it is always ready and the hose spools out and retracts well. They even provide a means to replace it when it eventually fails - with a locking pin to make it a no fuss issue. ... show more

    • Great for certain applications, not so much for others
Couldn't be easier to install and use. The hose reel is great, but if you're not careful it could snap back and get away from you quickly as you're pulling it out. For the seasonal or even monthly use for a few odd and ends things that need cleaning this is nice, as it's very convenient and quick to start up and go (and I don't have to drag it out from the shed). However, the pressure falls significantly short in comparison to anything gas, it's a little slow on the go, but once it gets going it's sufficient enough for vehicles and light deck cleaning (and worked great on my mower). I also used it on my metal roof and while I got it done, it took a very long time due to not enough pressure. It's a bit more form than it is function. Hard to justify it's pricing, there are better products out there for less. ... show more

The the idea of a 100ft reel pressure washer appeals to you, and you have a place to mount it, then just go ahead and buy this. It is more powerful than other electric power washers we have used. It comes with a heavy duty steel mounting plate. We mounted ours under the roof of a shed to keep it out of the elements as we didn't see anything in the literature about exposure to rain. We really like the way the hose is guided onto the reel . The hose gets laid down perfectly every time. We have other reel things that don't guide the hose and they rarely spool properly without a jam. We do wish this came with a turbo jet nozzle, but you can always buy one later. This is pretty heavy so you wouldn't want to lug it around often. It has a flat enough base that you could use a dolly to wheel it around and that should work as well as the useless wheels of other electric power washers on the market. ... show more

Dissapointed with inconsistent pressure and low GPM rate. It's noisier than led to believe and the constant start and stop caused the pressure to vary significantly. Nice design, but less than desirable performance.

This thing is weak! I have a 1700psi electric that is twice as powerful as this thing. Total waste of money.
