This is a solid power bank that can fulfill all of your power needs. It easily jump started my car and holds power a really long time. I have a 2005 GMC three-quarter ton four-wheel-drive with 212 V batteries and a Duramax diesel 8 L engine. This booster works great, Had problems with my fuel pump so I’ve worn down my batteries and recharge them too many times that my batteries are both shot. I can’t afford to replace both batteries right now because that will be close to $500 so I bought this Gimfoom 4000amp booster and it works great. Simple and easy instructions, works very well, this booster turns my engine over faster than my batteries ever did. This is a nicely finished unit. The display is large bright and easy to read. I like that this doesn't have the separate little box found on a lot of the other starter. So, I was looking to order a jump pack for a while now. Came across Gimfoom pack. Not many reviewers, but higher rating overall with photos, moreover its Amazon best choice. Just got it today. Very quick shipping. The pack looks really good and the quality is very good vs to the price. Nothing was missing. Solid pack and a case and heavy duty cables. Have not tried it yet. I wanted to love this jump box looks awesome but it will not do as advertised. Yes it will crank a 4cyl, v6, v8 no problem, but 7.3 NO! it will crank the big diesel engine if not completely drained, it still is handy for a assist. I started a nissan rouge twice with battery unhooked and it took battery life from 100% to 89%. ... show more

What’s included - Velcro case, USB-C charging cord and adapter, jumpstarter, jumpstart cables, instruction manual. Charging - Unit arrived about 85% charged, it is important to fully charge it before use (USB-type C). It charged up in about 45 min- 1 hr. The blue LED readout is nice & large, and easy to read. USB powerstation – Tried charging my phone, with the USB-A to USB-C cord (included). I was a bit confused, as it seemed that pressing any of the side buttons wakes up the unit, and displays the LED percent charge. But just because the display is on, does not mean that the unit was active. It did not charge my phone, until I pressed the side center power button (kind of looks like the letter G). Now, the “Out” light was displayed, and it charged my phone. FYI – There are two USB-A output jacks (one is the speedier blue “SS’), and one USB-C input. Also, there is the special jack for jumpstarting. There is a rubber cover over all the jacks, and they are nicely labeled. Jumpstarter – Have not needed to use this yet. It states that it is capable of jumpstarting up to a 10 liter engine (our little Honda is only 1.5L!). You need at least 30% charge to jumpstart. If you connect the jumper cables wrong, you will not get the ‘Ready’ light, and a red exclamation point appears on the display. For such a beefy unit, it is interesting that the instructions state that you need to wait 1 minute between multiple start attempts. It also discourages from more than 3 attempts to start. LED Flashlight – This light will not light up the sky, but has acceptable brightness. I like that it has 3 modes – flash light, strobe light, and red light strobe SOS. Weight – This thing weighs a good 2 lbs, but in the case with all the equipment, it weighs 3.5 lbs.. Capacity: 4000A. They suggest topping it off every few months with a recharge. I sometimes take a jumpstarter with me when I travel, and on flights. Don’t quote me on this, but I believe that the TSA allows lithium power banks as carry –on (never in checked baggage), provided that it is less than 100 watt-hours. This unit’s specs say that it is 74wh, so theoretically it should be OK to take on a plane. However, in the manual (#1 under Reminders) it says that ‘it is prohibited on airplanes or ships.’ Overall, seems like a solid unit so far.
