When I acquired the Osmo many said not to use the protector with which it comes by default and I checked it when using it and trying the Osmo this got stuck. This protector instead is something else, I like it a lot, it is easy to use and makes my osmo fit in any bag. Inside it has a suede texture that makes it perfect so that the screen does not grate. Not a sturdy case so it won't protect from a fall but a good design to keep it protected from scratches, while it a bag, etc. Much better than the case provided by DJI. Also like that this one has the felt interior. Would buy again!

Why we love it: It is light weight, the clamshell design is super convenient, it has a velvety interior lining and a slot for a filter. It is super easy to open thanks to the two clips and it allows us to keep other equipment on the camera without having to remove it i.e. the magnetic holder in the photographs. It is super affordable. What we think you should know before you buy it: This is not a super sturdy case, so if you are someone who is not so careful with your Osmo Pocket 3 you may want to reconsider. However, if you are someone who is careful and try your best not to drop the camera, this will be the perfect protective cover for you. I ordered this Amazear Gimbal Lens Protective Cover for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to use with my Pocket 3. I've ordered a fair number of accessories for my Pocket 3. I thought that this gimbal cover would be a useful addition. I can say that it fits the Pocket 3 perfectly and does a good job at protecting the lens and gimbal assembly. If you keep your Pocket 3 in a hard case that has preformed slots, this item might prevent your Pocket 3 from fitting properly into the case. If you have any other sort of protective cover for your Pocket 3, you will most likely find that it will be incompatible with this item. That was the case for me, but I decided that using this gimbal protector was better than my previous attempt at providing some protection for my Pocket 3. ... show more

First off, I love the video quality from the Pocket 3, but the DJI case was not thought through at all. It has one job- to protect the camera- and the DJI case fails miserably. It’s called a “Pocket”, but when I put it in the DJI case in my actual pocket the lens head slides around until it is exposed on the outside of the one sided case. And then all that suctioning while pulling in and out of that big case damaged the screen twist mechanism that had to be repaired. Boo DJI! That’s where this device saves the day! This snaps on easy peasy. This much-improved case goes around the lens/gimbal head 360°. There’s no chance of scratching the lens or moving the gimbal. And it weighs hardly anything! The lighter the better when I’m traveling. It has a magnet inside to store a lens filter, but it does NOT fit the DJI wide angle lens attachment. Too thick. It does fit the thinner filters, however, perfectly. There are a handful of accessories I consider a must-have for the Pocket 3 and this one is at the top of the list. ... show more

Works well and better than the original cover that came with the DDJI Osmo Pocket 3! This has a semi-soft felt like material lined all around that would teach the device. It's not too thin, and not too thick either. Good for protection, I don't think it would help too much with a drop though. It's easy to put on and off just press the sides to pop it off. I have glass protector on my screen and lens and it still fits perfectly! Just what I was looking for especially when traveling. Highly recommend! ... show more

I bought this to protect my dji osmo pocket 3 but feel ls like it will not do its job. The quality is poor, it does not fit, so i am returning this product. No value.
