I really love the golden leaf I received. Packaging was perfect, nothing was cracked or ripped during the shipping. It works great on all my projects. I used the golden leaf, not only for simple restoration projects but also in paintings, assemblage arts and slime projects. This cute little gilded tiger decoration is one of the project I have done. My 8 year old has asked me for months to buy her some gold leaf for her slime and I have had to keep saying no because everywhere I look, the leaf is $10 and up for just a few sheets. I decided to try buying some off a website, but should have known it was too good to be true. While the site said "gold leaf," the product I received was gold foil :( So once again, Amazon came to the rescue! I stumbled across this item during a late night shopping spree and we couldn't be happier. The gold leaf is super, super thin and works perfectly for her slime (just like the pros you see doing gold leaf slime on Instagram and YouTube). This imitation gold leaf is great for a novice.I use it in my learning project and it is perfect,then I apply lacquer/ finish over it to protect the foil.My teacher is aways using Mona Lisa brand of gold leaf,I placed his gold project side by side and size and color are exactly the same, he could not tell the difference. ... show more
