The media could not be loaded. My husband is very pleased with this universal socket tool. It is self-adjusting from a standard 1/4" to 3/4" (metric 7-19mm) with more than 130lbs of torque. The adapter transforms a drill into a socket driver to unscrew most bolts, nuts, hooks, and other types of fasteners, so you don't need to have all kinds of sizes hanging around. This one does them all. It has strong steel rods that are individually spring-actuated which allows the socket to automatically conform to any shape instantly. Look, you're reading these reviews to see if this thing is worth spending money on and it comes down to this. Are you a novelty seeker or not? If you are, then this is a must own. If you're actually looking for a tool of some utility for the money, something that does what it claims to well, and you'd be contented with assurances that this is not too great an opportunity passed, you can leave your wallet at home on this one. This thing will not replace a socket set. It is simply not durable enough for that. It's a curiousity that you'll use once or twice and will remain in your toolbox as a cool-ish but useless tool that you might show off to a friend some day. ... show more

I chose this universal socket to stand in for home projects and bike tuning until I can afford the full SAE/metric shallow/deep sets. It has worked so well that I will keep on using it for the foreseeable, etc. I've been pleased with its performance to tune up two older bikes - one 50 years old and the other 70 years old and British - for which finding exact wretches would have been difficult. I'm cautiously optimistic, noting that the springs and pins must be delicate relative to the torque they withstand. It's good enough for my purposes, but I wouldn't pay more than $15 for it and do not recommend this for professionals. Five stars for doing what it is intended to do - allow for light home use and bike repairs. Thank you, Moongo Tool for making a decently novel and useful gadget. ... show more
