I have a guest apartment so I bought these for that reason. I bought the cream? color because my decor is white and blue. With constant use you can start to see some utensil marks, like knife cutting, spoon use on the bottom of the bowls, but they hold up well. They are hand washed but can also be used in a dishwasher, and after a year I've only had one salad plate get broken. I ordered another set to use now as back up pieces for the future. The sizes of the plates are normal for salad and dinner, the bowls are quite big for cereal and soup. ... show more
