I really love this chair because it is filled with cushy material that feels like memory foam and egg crate foam. The covering is very plush and feels great. In the winter, this chair will be super comfy and cuddly, but even now when it’s warm outside, I find the chair to be comfortable and cozy. Unpacking and setup was a breeze. It comes shrink packed, so it expands when you open it up. It also has a pleasant smell. Sometimes foam can have an odor, and I did not find this to be the case. When I sat in it, I really like how wide it was because I was able to have one of my dogs sit next to me while in it. Interestingly, my dogs like it also. When I got up to get a cup of tea, when I came back, my dogs were in it without me! It is sturdy, and there is a handle behind the headrest that you can use to move the chair around and reposition it. I like the pocket on the side so I can put my book in it and not lose it. What’s really nice about this model is that it has the armrests so you can’t slide out of it. I found myself leaning on the armrests, which felt good. The chair has a lot of support. It has a backrest, it has armrests, and it’s very cushy. Even though it’s very cushy, I don’t sink down in it because of the type of quality foam it is constructed with. I got it recently for my new appartment and its easily one of the most comfortable bean bag chairs ive ever sat in. the covering is very soft and so is the actual bean bag. its also very big, can even fit 2 people on it pretty easily. It also doesnt lose its shape easily, an issue ive seen with some others in the past. I got this chair for my older teenage daughter as an upgrade to her old beanbag chair which had seen better days. She loves this chair! First, it is heavy. I guess that foam hunks are much weightier than beanbag pellets--that makes sense. At just under 37 lbs. it isn't a chair you are just going to toss from one space to another. The larger size also makes for less toss-able chair. You probably aren't going to want to transport this chair to/from college as you might with a standard beanbag chair (or you might want to transport it as it is such a loved chair, but the logistics will be more challenging). However, this really is an upgrade. The largeness and comfort of it far surpass a beanbag. The soft, fuzzy cover is also a big hit with my daughter. I am glad the cover is able to be taken off for washing purposes as very light beige doesn't tend to stay very light beige with lots of use. This is definitely a well-loved chair and where I find her (cross-stitching, reading, on the computer, on her phone, etc.) while she is in her room when not in bed. ... show more
