This beanbag chair is absolutely fantastic. It is well-made and very sturdy. I have a very small TV room with the couch that only comfortably sits two people. I bought this chair as an extra so that when my son and his wife are here for the holidays there would be extra seating for a third person. It’s really comfortable, and seats and adult very well. I’m 5 foot nine and I weigh 155 pounds. This chair holds up beautifully, and the backrest does not need to be leaned up against anything. You can lean back and it holds firm. We love our Big Joe chairs! I was a little leery of a bean bag chair but these are firm while still being comfortable and light enough to move around the house where we want them. My tall 10 year old is able to snuggle in with sufficient support on the back. The color is a lighter pink than the picture (it matches the swatch) but I was hoping for that so the color is perfect to me. It's not shrink-wrapped, which is such a relief since it seems most manufacturers are shrink wrapping everything and it usually negatively affects the product in some way. Purchased 2 of these bean bags last year (Nov 2023) for my 9 year old son’s bedroom. They’re a great size for him, and adults alike (we are a tall family, and my husband - 6’3” - and I - 5’10” - were able to use them comfortably). We did have some issues with seams coming undone and beans falling out after we had them for 6-9 months, but Big Joe replaced both bean bags. The process to file a claim was super easy through their website, and the replacements were sent out the next day. They come filled with a sufficient amount of foam beads, but I’m sure some additional foam could be added to make them even more comfortable (you can purchase shredded foam here on Amazon that could then be added to the bags). The product itself is 4 Star, but their customer service sent my rating over 5! Very impressed with this company and would purchase products from them again over any other bean bag company. It is very comfortable. I use it all the time and often fall asleep because it's so cozy. Unfortunately, the one I have seems to be poorly sewn and a hole has opened at one of the seams, causing all the styrofoam to spill out from underneath. I have repaired it, but the manufacture should test the product more to make sure it is durable. ... show more
