I had my first Atlin for several years and unfortunately was lost. I immediately ordered my second one (exact one) and I still love it! Ice remains solid even after several hours. It's the best cup in my opinion.

****UPDATE**** The manufacturer reached out to me to apologize and gave me a refund. Therefore, I gave this one extra star. This is mainly used for cold beverages. It does very well keeping my ice cold drinks cold throughout the night provided the lid stays shut. The bottom piece fell off a few weeks after purchasing it and the chrome container did not arrive with the additional pieces as advertised. I would’ve really enjoyed those additional pieces especially after paying for them. The container is easy to clean and easy to hold. Would’ve given it a higher rating had the bottom piece not fallen off (does not hinder the container) and had I received the additional straws and straw cleaner ... show more

Great cup for the price. I choose it, bc it can be washed in the dishwasher. Orange matches our company colors and it lovely to hold - not slim. Fits well into cupholder. Its holds cold beverages really well even if left in the car during hot day in Texas. orange came with 2 lids and a straw. One thing that I consider a design flaw is the hot beverages lead - it opens up, but not all the way, and when you try to drink my nose pushes against the open part ( and my nose isn't big..), and bc I planned to use it mostly with hot drinks, that frustrates me.. So that need to be re-thought to make this product really great. The second lid is a sliding latch, using it, but its not 100 percent leakproof. Also time to time the rubber ring should be placed back into place. but again, good for its money ... show more

It’s a large stainless steel cup with a plastic lid and a stainless steel straw. After washing, the stainless steel cup remained a stainless steel cup, the stainless steel straw remained a stainless steel straw, and the plastic lid remained a plastic lid. After using the stainless steel cup with the plastic lid and the stainless steel straw, I was amazed to find that even after putting hot coffee and cold water in the stainless steel cup and covering it with the plastic lid and using the stainless steel straw with the cold water, the hot coffee remained hot coffee, the cold water remained cold water, the stainless steel cup remained a stainless steel cup, the stainless steel straw remained a stainless steel straw, and the plastic lid remained a plastic lid. I do NOT recommend using the stainless steel straw with the stainless steel cup and the plastic lid for drinking hot coffee, primarily because that would be stupid. Remove the stainless steel straw. Do NOT remove the stainless steel cup or the plastic lid, as this would cause a hot puddle of coffee, and would also be stupid. Even after I banged it on the counter a few times, the stainless steel cup remained a stainless steel cup, the stainless steel straw remained a stainless steel straw, and the plastic lid remained a plastic lid. I even tried laying the stainless steel cup, the stainless steel straw, and the plastic lid in a row on the counter and then moving them all around to different positions, and ... you guess it ... the stainless steel cup remained a stainless steel cup, the stainless steel straw remained a stainless steel straw, and the plastic lid remained a plastic lid!!! In summary, I am STUNNED by this amazing example of human ingenuity! If you want a stainless steel cup, a stainless steel straw, and a plastic lid that fail to turn into socks, umbrellas, mosquitos, beluga whales, paper clips, broken Xbox controllers, dead batteries, your Uncle Bob, fruit bats, Star Wars action figures, or rabid porcupines, this is DEFINITELY what you want!!!! ... show more

Am writing this upon request. I was in an unexpected need for a replacement travel mug and this one kept popping up in my research with positive reviews so that encouraged me to give it a try. I've only had it for one day, but so far am impressed with it. It is simple and plain, but designed very well in my opinion. The lid is not leakproof, but it is not designed to close, which may be important to you. I only plan to use it here at home so that is not important to me. It arrived on time, with the packaging in good order. As advertised, it came with a nice metal straw and companion straw cleaner. They looked to be in good working order, but I don't plan on using them, so can't speak to their functionality. As for actual use, it has so far kept my drink cold for the entire morning, although, since it doesn't have an airtight lid, I suspect it will warm up a bit sooner than those styles that do have airtight lids. All edges are rounded and thus comfortable to hold over a length of time. It cleans up easily by hand and seems to dry fairly quickly. The plastic lid is transparent and very sturdy. Goes on and off easily but stays put once on. Overall, I am very pleased with it. However, I am not sure if this would be my first choice if I were to use it anywhere but home. It is all metal with no handle, which I feel would be hot or cold, depending on the weather, to hold. Additionally, I could see that without a handle, if it became wet on the outside, could be slippery and difficult to hold. Of course, the open lid design makes it impractical for some travel situations. As well, I understand it is double-walled, not triple, which I would prefer for travel. Therefore, I don't see it as a good travel choice for me. However, for daily use around the house, which is what I wanted it for, I think it will be superb and recommend it for that purpose. ... show more
