  • I've enjoyed the series despite some problems, but...
There are issues here and there but, overall, it's a pretty good, well written story. There are some situation issues but, at the end of the world, who am I to say things may not be done...differently. The technical issues bug me a bit more but I am living with them. Even the repeated us of "clips" instead of magazines, sometimes numerous times within a couple paragraphs, I just push on past. It's annoying because it's such a simple research item. Anyone writing this kind of fiction should know better. OK, whatever. But then, tonight, I was pushed entirely out of the narrative by... "...the Colt 1911 Desert Eagles..." DUDE! Really? Let's take two of the best known sidearms you can possibly name, who are about as far apart in design and purpose as is possible to get and still be handguns, and COMBINE THEM into one Frankenstein's monster?! Good grief. I think I'll skip a couple pages ahead and just try and pretend that never happened. ... show more

  • You Must Read This Series
This series is so interesting and different from any other apocalypse series. It comes to a tumultuous climax which you will not figure out! The plot is thought provocative concerning genetics, it seems very plausible. Our group struggles to survive and help others survive. The fate of the human race is at stake. The fate of the planet is at stake, as well...again very plausible. You finally learn who has been in control and has been forever. I hated for the story to end. It is hard to put down and you become very invested in the storyline as well as the characters. We already know if we do not take better care of our planet, we may an unnerving future. ... show more

  • Riveting, realistic story
I am so glad I found this series. Just finished books 1,2 and 4 and this has been an incredible story. It was hard to put down. The characters were intriguing and the story line was a little too believable. This is a great series and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the catalyst stories.

  • great Series
This was a great series! I found the characters believable and the storyline conceivable. Let’s hope it’s not that conceivable, but in truth, this is a great story, and I have known every word even up to the end.

  • Great series
I was a little put off by the computer lingo I'm not very techy. However, the story line was awesome diverse and entertaining. The ending caught me in surprise 😮 but I came up with my own!?! I really like JK Frank's writing
