I love the idea of this product. It takes a really long time to dry your hair and the flat iron doesn’t make it all the way to your roots. If you’re in a pinch and can only carry ‘one thing’ it’s a good choice but honestly, I use my other (cheaper) products instead, they dry my hair faster and straighten more effectively. If it was half of the price, it would be a perfect tool for me. My hair is quite fine and wavy, it takes a few passes to get it dry. It’s hard to go to the roots, that’s fine for me bc my roots are straight, but it can be an issue for someone with wavy roots. The hair feels soft and has a nice body, not that flat as with a flat iron (using the drying settings only) so I like that. Overall a great tool, but I returned it bc there is nothing that special that justifies spending $400 + taxes in this tool. ... show more

So I got this thinking I would save time but worried it might damage my hair you know like if I used a straightener on wet hair. Well this is a 2 in 1 tool but you have to blow dry 1st then use the straightener tool so no time saving at all and the tool is heavy and the button is hard to flip on.

There isn’t much drying power.I had blown dried my hair about 75% and it took multiple passes of the ghd to finish the drying.It did leave my hair shiny and soft but I don’t think this should be considered a dryer.It was also heavy so I had to take breaks.As a hair straightener I think this is good but definitely shouldn’t be advertised as drying.Definitely not worth the hefty price tag. ... show more

So, yes the wieght gets to you, but its takes the place of using a blow dryer and a hot iron. If you want best results, go slow and more than a couple passes. However, I have bleached hair and its a bit damaged. When I used it wet it came out stiff so I used my rotating air brush to dry my hair, then the iron, and it came out perfect. So, if your hair is damaged/bleached severely I wouldn't recommend it, but my daughter LOVES it! ... show more

So this took longer to do hair than just blow drying and heat styling.. took at least 4-5 passes on sections. The product is definitely made well and very pretty. If you have med/fine short hair, this might work for you

I have used so many blow dryers and straighteners over the years so I was skeptical that this would dry from wet hair like it claims to do and it seriously does! It definitely recommends to use on towel dried hair, so I did that it took me just under 15 minutes to dry my entire head. It’s worth the money and I am so happy with the purchase ... show more
