I've only had my espresso maker for a couple of days, but so far, it's a clear winner and makes it easy for anyone to pull a shot or two of espresso. This isn't my first espresso maker, but it is every bit as good as my first one that, by the way, cost twice as much and didn't make a better espresso than what I've gotten out of this one. This is a space-saver model and fits nicely between two other coffee makers of different types (yeah, I'm a coffee nut) and the price (got it on Black Friday) was excellent.     • Makes a good cup of espresso
I have been using this machine every day for a week now. I have really enjoyed the process of making espresso on it. I thought out of the box I’d have to practice pulling the correct shot with timing (I used to be a barista) but so far it’s pulling great shots and I haven’t had to adjust anything yet. The manual comes with plenty of information as well on how to adjust your shots which is super helpful. I am happy with this purchase. My one observation which is not a complaint, is that it reminds me of the feel and size of a small keurig. The machine is not heavy or sturdy feeling, but it doesn’t feel cheap either. YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE a heat-resistant milk pitcher in order to foam your milks or creams. I bought a12oz one and realized that once the milk foams up, it is too small. I’d go with the 16oz milk pitcher or the 20oz if you like larger lattes or cups of espresso. Everything else comes with the machine and is ready to use! Do yourself a favor and buy good Italian coffee grounds/beans and this machine is a great purchase! ... show more

    • Very easy to use - but not hot enough
Very easy to use, however I’m using a dark espresso roast and it’s coming out incredibly weak, also when I steam my milk it’s not heating up enough and it’s creating too much foam. I’ve been making my drink then needing to pop my cup in the microwave…. Maybe I need a better quality machine?

The espresso maker is fine except that it is so light that there is no easy way to remove the handle when you finish making the coffee and need to dispose of the coffee grinds and clean it. The whole machine lifts up from the counter or it just slides badly. Has anyone encounter this problem???

I love this machine so far. I used to have the breville barista express (which is like $700) and this one makes shots that taste just as good. The main difference is there’s no meter to show the pressure of the espresso shots and I had to buy a grinder separately, but overall this was an amazing purchase and perfect for small apartments ... show more
