This cover appears to be well-constructed, the material offers good water resistance, and it fits my Westinghouse 12K watt generator well. My only concern is that you have to roll up a side flap to provide an outlet for exhaust and heat. But doing so will somewhat reduce rain protection. I'm sure I can find a way to make it work considering my generator is rarely used (standby), and this cover is attractively priced. But if you're wanting to protect a regularly used generator from rain, you should probably look for something more substantial. I knew I was buying the yukky khaki color (4 bucks less than the grey) but its sturdiness will work well protecting my 4500 watt dual fuel inverter generator from the elements when not running (we sparingly use it when dry —boondocking— trailer camping). I made sure to get a size a bit larger so I could leave my LP gas line and trailer power cord attached. Outside feels like a good polyester canvas "cloth", but inside it is a thick coating of rain-proof vinyl or similar. Good product at a good price. ... show more

It was easy to put on and take off, Has velcro straps to wrap around frame legs for the windy days. The zippers are nice quality and should last a good long time.
