This helped us out a lot while we were putting down new baseboards. At one point, one of the screws fell out if it, but I was able to put it back together. My biggest complaint about this, though, is that when trying to find certain angles, the numbers would be covered up by part of the angle finder itself. It does what it's supposed to do and for the money it's earned a spot in my tool box. Now my complaints...the numbers for the measurements are just about impossible for me to see. Disclaimer, I am 56 and I've been welding since I was 18 so my eyeballs ain't that great but the numbers could be better. The bolt for locking it in place could be a thumbscrew or something similar so you didn't need an Allen wrench to change the dimension you're using. I added a thumb screw tab to bolt so it's tool free adjustable now. So the pin has stayed nice and sharp. ... show more

I use a Mitutoyo protractor which is almost identical but much more expensive. I wanted a second one for another area of my shop. I was wary about the General Tools version but it appears to be as precise as the Mitutoyo. The “fit and finish” is as expected with the much cheaper tool but it functions well.
