I got these to add a few bowls to the rotation with kids using them constantly. I was very surprised at the weight and thickness of these bowls and how sturdy they feel in your hand. These aren't the usually thin lined bowls that we're all used to. These might hold a little less food or liquid in it than other bowl, but I've been very impressed with the durability and even heat retention so far. These bowls has such a pretty variety of color but still coordinate well. They are the perfect size for cereal, pasta, a side salad or for use as a serving dish. They are not made so thick that they're overly heavy but are well made and stack inside one another.

These bowls are perfect for soups and salads. The colors are really soft, neutral and go well with our white plates. We love that they are dishwasher and microwave safe. They appear to be well made and come packaged very safely. Now we just need to keep from breaking them!

What I like about this set of four ceramic bowls: They are thick and durable. Mine have gone through several cycles in the dishwasher and handwashing, and nary a chip or crack. They are just the right size for a regular serving of soup, stew, cereal, or pretty much anything. They make lovely side salad bowls. The colors are beautiful and pleasing to the eye.
