    • Expensive mistake
I tried this, I followed the instructions to the letter and it did nothing. In the end my nails ended up damaged and messed up. I'm still growing them back and trying to get them to look almost normal. I would NOT buy this product and risk the damage I did to my nails.

I was new to the world of nail wraps. Getting them on was no problem but getting them off was a little harder. This has made changing them out a breeze!     • Skeptical but pleasantly surprised!

I was looking for a way to remove dip powder manicure without going to the salon or drilling my hands and soaking forever. I noticed that this was marketed for regular gel, not dip powder, but figured I’d try it and was honestly expecting it to not work at all. I had at least 5-6 layers of dip powder on both hands. I gently filed my right hand with an abrasive Emory board until I removed all the shine, then I used this machine with Offly remover. I had to repeat 4 times on my right hand and eventually ended up using a cotton pad soaked w acetone and a clip for my thumb, as my nail tech usually does extra clear and base on my thumbs bc I chip them a lot at work. For my left hand, I filed more intensely with the emery board before saying “F this” and took out the e-file. I then put pure acetone in the machine. After two rounds, the polish on my left hand was easily wiped off with a cotton pad. On both hands my nails are relatively healthy and the only noticeable damage is the roughed-up areas from my prior manicure. The entire outgrowth Is totally healthy. In the past when I removed dip or UV at home I had to trim my nails very short and they were still peeling and cracking and very damaged from the gel application and removal. Now my nails only have the damage from the last manicure, no added damage, no peeling or splitting or cracking, and they don’t “feel thin” or hurt. This thing is amazing as long as you have the right expectations and preparations. If you expect it to instantly remove a full manicure, you’ll be disappointed, but if you take the time to scrub and soak you may be surprised - it still takes a long time to get everything cleaned off but it’s still quicker than foils or nail clips, and my nails are way happier using this than any other removal method. ... show more

    • Kinda difficult
This is kinda difficult to use. It's uncomfortable to stick your Fingertips in there for 20 minutes for it to soak off. You have to be plugged into the wall. The whole time and this makes it difficult wish it was a rechargeable and a little more comfortable

    • I wasn’t sure about this at first
This product is easy to use. I swore off gel nail polish for months because it was so hard to remove and damaged my nails. This makes removal much easier. I file the tops of nails to break seal, then put fingers in the steamer holes. Steam for a cycle, remove softened gel polish, may need to file again to break down areas that I missed initially and steam one more cycle and scrape soft polish, done!     • Burns/hurts your nails
Really disappointed in this! I did everything it asked me to do, it made one flake come off. I started feeling terrible pain, (no I did not touch the hot Acetone) in some of my fingers. It wasn’t burning my skin but it was like the nerves under my nails were on fire! I now have what looks like a rash at the tip of my nail. I couldn’t stand to keep those fingers in. I had to file my gel polish almost completely off for it to even cause that one flake to come off. Complete trash and now I cannot stand for anything to touch my nails. ... show more

    • Check the content of acetone in your nail polish remover when using
I am so happy to have found something that makes removing acrylics, gels, dip powder, shellac, color street, and glitter polish such a breeze to get off with no damage to my nails! Results vary greatly by the acetone content in your nail polish remover, I used cutex 98% based acetone remover with acrylic nails on and had to steam each of my hands 4 times before removing all of the acrylic with hardly any filing. Color street came off easily with a store brand acetone remover, but the acetone remove that I used (I believe it was something like studio m or something along those lines) didn't touch my acrylics at all, didn't even soften them. The cutex did wonders and I have to believe that a 100% acetone remover would do the job easier. The instructions are very clear and my fingers no longer have an acetone residue in them after removing nails (we all know that dreaded taste of acetone residue on our fingers after we've soaked our nails and maybe forgot to wash out hands before grabbing something to eat 🤣). I love the quality of this product and I am thinking about purchasing a second one to do both hands at once. There is a lot less waste of remover too as you can reuse the remover for multiple steams. I found that about every 5-6 uses or steams I would need some more remover. The cutex remover that I used actually gelled up when it was getting low and it was really easy to clean the interior warming cup each time that happened. Overall a great product and quick and easy to use! Cannot say enough good about it! Check the content of acetone in your remover before using... You need something with a high level of acetone to get it to work the best, so negative reviews may be based on the acetone content of their polish remover. ... show more
