I needed acetone, nail polish remover, to help with a decorative painting project. I looked at the box pharmacies but they only carried the saturated polish remover pads...a no go for me. I bought this to take off gel nail polish. It does the job well. However, make sure you do it over a trash can since this can stain a sink (or you can use the polish remover to get it off the sink, but that wastes more remover).
