    • Prefect replacement!
Our twelve year old microwave stopped working and I really wanted a direct replacement since I didn’t want to do any remodeling to install. This is a perfect replacement for our previous GE over the range microwave. There are several things I like better about this one. The first is the built in light/nightlight. The lights on the bottom are nice and bright to light up the stovetop when you are cooking, and the nightlight is just perfect for a small amount of light in the kitchen for that nighttime trip to the kitchen. The display is bright and easy to see. The front is a smooth look with no vents showing. If you are using this as a recirculating fan it vents upward from the face of the microwave and includes a charcoal filter to remove odors. Ours is vented out the top to the outside and was an easy fit. The other option is vented to the rear of the microwave and that is just a small change to the fan position which is well documented in the instructions. The instructions were fantastic with cut out templates that make installation a breeze! The1000 watts make cooking fast and easy. Never bought an appliance off Amazon before this over the range microwave. Showed up at my front door with out me going to get it and doing all that lifting/transporting. It was easy to install and works great.

    • So far so good it matches all that was written
Only issue I had was I didn’t get a notification that it was going to be delivered on the day, driver left msg on my door. He had to bring it back we weren’t home.. If the driver would have called with a approximate time a second trip could have been eliminated.

    • Product was damaged, cosmeticly .. had big dent
When I got the microwave the box looked a little banged up.. upon opening the was a good size dent on the top next to fan blower.. how ever no choice I had to install it . It was for may kid that is going to university and we were there that week end ,, no time to bring it back and wait another 2 weeks .. the kid needed a microwave.. 😬😬🥲🥲🥲 ... show more

    • Great but a little noisy
The only problem I have with this microwave is the noise. There's this vibrating sound that persists until the timer gets below 10 seconds. I've tightened the bolts down and felt around for anything loose outside of the unit that could cause the vibrating noise but I'm almost certain it's something inside. And it ALWAYS stops when the timer gets between 8 and 10 seconds. Weird. ... show more

Recently had kitchen remodeled, and replaced an old Amana. Does not have all the bells and whistles, if that's what you need, but is sturdy and works great so far. I always had good luck with GE products. This does the job for me. My only complaint is the clock is a bit hard to read. Numbers seem to be too close together. ... show more
