I worked in the restaurant business for many years and have used a lot of different juicers, primarily commercial ones. This juicer is easier to use, and it is far easier to clean. It easily juices fruits and vegetables and has convenient suction pads on the feet. It is powerful, especially for a home juicer. It has clear instructions and a good recipe booklet to get you started juicing your way to a healthier you! I use it to make both juices for drinking plain as well as for juice to make protein drinks. I have juiced Pineapple, carrots, kale, apples, peaches, bananas, and celery. It performed well for all. I am delighted with its performance and highly recommend it to those who enjoy fresh juice from any fruit or vegetable. Remember to read the instructions, removing the pits and stones from fruit such as peaches or plums. I will post my first video when I receive my replacement phone from the insurance company.     • Make sure you assemble it correctly
It's a juicer and it works. High capacity; can process lots of fruit at once. I did not have any issues with either apples or carrots, and the softer fruit (such as oranges) are even easier. There are instructions, but they are not very clear, so I ended up putting things in the wrong way at first. But after the first trial, it all came into place. Overall, a very good juicer, and great value ($99.99 at the time of order) - you pay a lot less than you would for a brand name with the same features. How quickly would it pay for itself? Depends on how much juice you buy. If juice is a regular on your grocery list, you'll pay it off in no time. Consider that a pound of apples costs, how much juice you can make, and how much juice you can buy for the same amount of money (not taking into account that you can use pulp for pies!). I did quick calculations, and for our household, it would take about six months. So definitely worth the price. ... show more

This seemed like a great juicer, but things didn't go well. First of all, I was concerned about the plastic on the edge of the basket that the filter fits into. It started to get scraped right away. After just three uses, I noticed that it was rough and sharp. It seems the filter was rubbing against it on one side. Long, thin pieces came off of it. Then the fourth time I used it, I had just put a handful of celery through it and needed some more. I turned off the juicer to get more celery. But the juicer wouldn't turn on again - ever. I thought maybe it overheated (I only ran it for a couple of minutes), so I let it cool off, and tried again - nothing. I tried several different plugs - nothing. It feels like the power/speed button is disconnected from the motor. Or maybe the motor just died, but it is kaput. Here are a few of my earlier observations/experiences with it before it died: This is a big juicer - the biggest centrifugal juicer I've every used. It takes up a good amount of counter space and is probably not suited to really small kitchens. I'm having a hard time finding a place for it. When it was working, it was powerful. I was surprised when I read, "Do not operate the juicer continuously for more than 15 minutes" without resting it. I've never seen that on a juicer before. For normal juicing, this juicer is so fast, you can have a lot of juice done in just a few minutes. You would have to be making an awful lot of juice to take up 15 minutes. It has the biggest filter/basket and feed chute I've ever seen. You can literally drop whole apples or pears into it and they won't get stuck. While the extra-large chute works great for apples and other large fruits/vegetables, it doesn't work so well for skinny items like celery stalks. What's happening is that there are a lot of long celery pieces left that break off and don't get juiced because they are just too loose in that extra-large feed chute. So I have to run the pulp through again twice to get more of them juiced. Even after three runs, there are still some chunks of celery left. Each time I run them through, it produces several more ounces of the juice, but I don't have time to keep running the pulp through. So while the motor of this juicer is probably the fastest and most powerful I've ever used, I had to stop and run the pulp through over and over, which takes a lot of time and effort. So I'm not really saving any time. The bar that holds the top in place is very hard to put on and pull off. You have to pull it up before you can get it off and because it really holds tight, it takes a lot of effort. Doing that three times is really too much, but I don't want to waste all that celery. If they had an insert to put inside the chute that made it smaller for celery, I think it would solve the problem. I doubt I would have to re-juice the pulp. However, all this doesn't matter anymore. Its dead and this is the juicer that is sending me back to masticating juicers. ... show more

I like this juicer. You are instructed not to run it for more than 2 minutes at a time. You are also instructed to peel all fruit and vegetables before putting them in the juicer. If like juicing, and want fast results, this is the perfect solution. The opening allows you to place bigger pieces of fruits and veggies in the chute. I was able to place small whole apples and carrots without cutting them. The pulp is wetter, but that is typical for this type of juicer. It works very fast. It is very easy to clean. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I have a ninja blender that I use and do smoothies with. This is definitely a juicer! I love you can put a whole fruit and there is no waste.
