Once this mattress fully expanded it looks plush and durable. It feels so good to sleep on. I used it on a bed frame that doesn't need a box spring. I definitely recommend this mattress.

I usually won't get a mattress less than 12 inches... But gave this one a try, which I have to say, glad I did... It is surprisingly comfortable!! Great choice definitely recommend!!!

    • Very versatile and just right
This twin memory foam mattress has a nice pillow top and it’s easier to compress, so I’d classify this as a soft mattress. It works great for our day bed. I would definitely say that this is on average with the mattresses you bring out of the store in a floppy, solid piece, despite this coming in a reasonably sized container. I had a brand name controller-based softness/firmness mattress before, and this would be about a 35-40 air setting in my opinion, which is pretty comfortable for someone with chronic pain. Our youngest, who still uses a twin in his bedroom, is debating swapping with this mattress, and his was bought at a furniture store. And if you find that it is ever too soft for you, add a firmer topper, and you’re golden. It’s is super versatile. Easily a 5-star mattress to me. ... show more

    • The perfect mattress for kids
Oh, wow. I cannot believe that mattresses can now be shipped in small boxes. This one is great! Our first grader loves it. PROS: --It “inflated” back to its normal size within mere minutes. --The VOC aroma was minimal. All we had to do was let the mattress air out in room with open windows for a few hours, and then there was no VOC aroma at all. --It’s surprisingly thick—it definitely feels like a “real” mattress. Our kiddo’s sheets fit well. --It’s firm but comfortable. He was used to sleeping on “little kids” foam mattress from a well-known Swedish retailer, but transitioned to this mattress effortlessly. --It works perfectly on the wooden-slat bedframe we purchased from said Swedish retailer. --It doesn’t feel too springy. We dislike mattresses with springs in them (we sleep on a thick latex mattress ourselves), but the springs in this mattress aren’t noticeable. CONS: --None yet.     • Vacuum packed perfection for when you need it most.
We are currently in the throws of working on drawings for our eventual custom home. In the meantime, we are gradually and slowly looking to place certain items where they need to be in the home, and in our designs. When we considered our guest bedrooms, we decided that we were looking for a great value Gel hybrid mattress, as these have always previously proven to that great combination of comfort and value. As these hybrids can often be supplied vacuum packed and boxed, and we needed that ability to store it for a while, until the completion of the build. From the product description, this BedStory Twin Mattress 10 Inch Gel Memory Foam hybrid Mattress had all the sleep qualities and certifications that we were looking for. As we had previously ordered several excellent products from this company before, we felt confident that these 2 twin mattresses, would both be good choices for us, too. They deliver relatively quickly, and somehow they alway manage to have all their products, vacuum packed and boxed nicely. On top of this, we felt that Bedstory never seem to fall short of offering a great product for a great price, and impressively, also with a TEN YEAR WARRANTY! This popped right open once the compression wrapping was removed, and it was ready to go with the firm and supportive inner springs and soft topper on it. All I had to do was add sheets, and in minutes, I had a brand new bed that, even better, was shipped right to my door. I like that it is not completely made of memory foam. That tends to add weight and does not feel as supportive as having coil springs underneath. The exterior top is very soft and pairs well with the springs beneath. I have ordered several mattress toppers from Bed Story and have been impressed every time. I was already a fan of this brand and am happy to have experienced a mattress from them.     • Great Quality Twin Sized Mattress
I ordered this mattress for one of my sons to replace an older brand name mattress that wasn't living up to expectations. After a couple months of usage, my son is a huge fan of this mattress. It is much cooler than his old mattress to sleep on (he's a hot sleeper) and the mattress hasn't deformed in any way yet. The memory foam is a nice touch. My son left the mattress to expand for a full 72 hours. The mattress seemed to be at full expansion by day 2 but he wasn't leaving anything to chance. This is a nice thick mattress. Finding protectors and toppers for it hasn't been a problem. Because I don't have to listen to my son complain about his old mattress anymore, I give these 5 stars alone.
