  • Perfect for patios
Easy to assemble. It is the perfect size for patios. I got the 4 foot size because I wanted to be able to easily reach all levels of plants.

  • Multiple tier planters.
This was a little difficult to put together. The basket holders do not feel that secure, so I am constantly fixing them. I like that it provides multiple tiers of space.

  • Takes up very little space
I wanted to add some greenery and color to my back deck. Because the Vertical Raised Garden Bed has four tiers, I can alternate between spices and flowers. The assembly directions were easy to understand, included assembly tools, the parts are extremely sturdy, and I found it easy to put it all together. As an added bonus, it includes a pair of garden gloves and a hand trowel; what an unexpected surprise. I can’t wait to start planting my seeds. ... show more

  • Pay attention to the directions
I thought i followed the directions correctly but did not. After an hour I had to take some of it apart to put it back together. But once it was together, it's lovely. Can't wait to put plants and flowers in it. Hanging plants will be great! It also comes with the planters, gloves and shovel.

  • Nice Arching Design but Need to Supply Your Own Locking Washers and Allen Wrench
Overall, I like this vertical garden. It’s too early to plant yet, but see a photo of it on my deck where it will look very nice this summer filled with flowers and cascading annuals. But there are a couple of issues to note: Assembly is required. It takes one person about 30 minutes to put it together. (A second person can be helpful to hold pieces of the frame in place as you screw them together, but it’s not required and won’t really speed up the process). With my particular unit, only 3 of the metal pieces were identified with a lettered sticker. The rest had no stickers at all. If that’s the case with yours, you just need to compare the pieces with the illustrated instructions to identify them. Mine also mistakenly came with 8 “M” nuts (vs. 4 per the instructions). Just discard any extra. But see below about needing to purchase some locking washers before you assemble it. Also, use your own allen wrench. The one provided is very cheap and the edges wear quickly to the point that you can’t sufficiently tighten the bolts (the wrench won’t grip anymore). You will need a 4 mm allen wrench (or a 5/32 inch wrench will also work). The one design flaw with this garden is that the 8 support bars that hold the ends of the flower boxes attach to the frame with only one bolt each (see photo). No matter how tightly you try to screw in these bolts, the minute you put the flower boxes on the support bars, they begin to rock from any movement. And each time you push the flower box back to a level position, the bolts will loosen some more, until they become very loose and the flower box can freely spin. These supports really need to have been designed with two bolts to the frame to keep them from moving. To help remedy this problem, I added a locking washer to each bolt (see two photos). You will definitely want to do the same. Otherwise, even trailing plants growing off the front side of the flower boxes will make the boxes tip form the unbalanced weight. The locking washers will allow you to more significantly tighten the bolts for added stability. It’s not a perfect solution, but it will keep the flower boxes more level and stable. If you want to permanently secure the flower boxes (so it’s impossible for them to move), use both locking washers and a dab of thread locking glue on each bolt. In terms of the flower boxes, the quality is a bit off in that they are very lightweight – made of thin plastic that has some give. They’ll work OK, but I want to use mine by placing planted pots directly into the flower boxes (using the flower boxes as water trays instead). I’m concerned that I’ll need to use lightweight plastic pots only – too much weight from heavier pots could warp the shape of the thin plastic flower boxes. Also, these flower boxes were manufactured with punch-outs that you could optionally remove to create drainage holes. Unfortunately, the manufacturer of this garden drilled 4 other drainage holes separate from the punch-outs (see photo). So I can’t use these flower boxes as is as water catching trays, since extra drainage holes were predrilled. If you do want to use the flower boxes as water trays (especially if, for example, you will be using the garden indoors and don’t want water running onto your floor), you can fill the predrilled holes with hot glue as I did (see photo). You can then always remove those glue plugs (or remove the punch-outs) if you later want to use the flower boxes with drainage. Overall, I do like this product – especially the design. I just wish the flower boxes were made of a more rigid plastic. And I wish they would have left the drainage punch-outs without predrilling additional drainage holes (so that you don’t have to plug those holes if need be). But the one flaw for sure is with the box supports – they just rock too much. You will definitely want to purchase 8 locking washers before assembly to help keep the flower boxes level. ... show more

  • VeryGood and Very Strong Yet Easy to Mov-n-Use
I like this raised bed garden for the gardening we like to do to grow our kitchen herbs. Just the right size for our use and, even when fully planted, it’s easy for two people to move when necessary. Very convenient! The drainage works well too. We have two! One in the greenhouse and one on the patio. This is a very good strategy for herbal gardening on a smaller scale. Just right for us and our needs! ... show more

  • Looks high end than others
This raised garden stand came well-packed. No missing parts or damages. There are many similar stands out there but this one gives a more high-end image. The mat-finished metal frame is very sturdy and holds planter boxes well. A nice vertical look is unique yet blends well in my patio, without taking up too much space. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Vertical raised garden bed
This garden bed was fairly simple to assemble. I wanted something small enough to be indoors or on my balcony. The curved design makes it easy to water and the frame feels really sturdy. I'm so excited to have found a compact bed so I can keep an herb garden indoors.
