We were nervous due to some reviews and have been able to debunk most. Box arrived had a torn side corner but no damages to the contents, not even a scratch! I do not recommend using the included tool kit for assembly. This is a product that will vibrate a lot due to the type of engine so tighten accordingly with appropriate tools and often. Took less than an hour to assemble. The tank decal has a protective film that fuel will lift but not the graphic itself. Unlike a "POWER WHEEL" type toy this is a machine that requires maintenance before use as well as periodically as stated in the manual. Leaking Fuel while storing, keeping the choke closed and letting it idle for a few minutes every few days helps prevent this. Also recommend VP synthetic 2 cycle additive. His bike does start on 1-2 pulls and runs great! This is a single cylinder engine, most of the heat comes from the cylinder. A heat shield would be nice, but this can be prevented by foot positioning on the pegs. Recommend a slight toe out position and wear jeans. My son has not had this issue. This is a rigid frame, road use bike. Using the bike off road or to do stunts will damage the fenders(hard plastic) and/or frame (tubular steal) Our battery came flat, they replaced it free of charge & took 3 days to arrive. Still Satisfied with the purchase and am considering a second one in pink for our daughter. two complaints, proper adjustment screws are not on the carb, but no biggie and the heat shield for the ankle mentioned above. ... show more

My 8 year old son was so excited to get the bike! Instructions were not the best but we did put it together. It looked really cool until it broke. He rode it around for 20 mins, went to go take a break. When he went to restart it, the puller had no resistance and it wouldn’t turn on. He was wearing the gear he needed to, long pants, long socks. When we went to change, I noticed the burn on his leg. He stated that his leg is near the engine and there is extremely hot air that blows by it. Since the bike is on the smaller side, he really doesn’t have anywhere else to put his legs. If I could give this bike 0 stars I would, but customer service was nice. My son is left heartbroken because he really wanted a gas-powered bike as we are returning this! ... show more

My son loves this bike, he wants to ride it every day. No issues with it at all. It starts right up, no issues with the pull string, or leaks or anything. All the bad reviews are probably from people crashing the bike and damaging it. They could exhaust the motor out of the back of the bike rather than the front so you don't get exhaust on your legs. Maybe add a small muffler as well. Great pice great little bike. Easy to start, bright LED light, brakes work, I can't say enough good things about it. ... show more
