    • Garosa tankless water heater disappoints.
It heats the water quickly. The picture in the ad implied a continuous digital read out, but it only shows temperature (centigrade only) when the water is flowing through the unit. Also, no adjustable temperature control (not mentioned in the ad). In fact, very little description of the units functions or lack thereof in the installations paperwork in the box or online. (I was looking for maybe a hidden button or a touchpad on the readout to convert to Fahrenheit.) Cold water in, hot water out, no mention if there is a function to control the unit to maintain a maximum temperature and then turn off to save electricity. I’m pretty sure there is there’s just nothing in the paperwork that says so. Also no extra fittings provided to help reduce trips to the hardware store. It’s made in China and sells for around $85. I guess you get what you pay for. ... show more

Works to make barely Warm water, would Not recommend for washing dishes. The chart for intake output is Way Off! Our intake is 62° and with JUST the hot water on (not turning on the cold At All) it is barely warm enough to say body temperature. I cried in shower because it got cold so fast. Can't afford to drive next town over to return through UPS nor do i have a printer to make return slip😢 It is Better than showering at 62° so is still a blessing Just Very disappointing as i have fibromyalgia and am Fully disabled so I need water temps that is on the advertised chart. I am on SSI and was barely able to afford this one which costs less than most on Amazon. You get what You pay for... I thought i would be getting hot water, but warm for a Few minutes is better than None at All ... show more

    • It works, the pipe threads are weird and BPT to NPT are worthless without thread sealants
The weird British threads really suck. The available adapters with gaskets arent much help useless you add a bunch of thread tape to seal things up. I guess it was weird to have British pipe threads with an american electrical plug. I use this to pre heat my incoming water to my tankless water heater in the winter month in the midwest. On that aspect the dang thing does what I want it to and I can enjoy a nice hot shower when incoming water temps make it difficult for the tankless to keep up. The British pipe threads give this a 3 star rating, otherwise expect to run heavier wiring and make the outlet it's on designated circuit with it's own breaker. ... show more

    • Buyer be very, very, very aware.
Working on a project to convert my cargo van to a camper van. Looking for a hot water solution and thought this unit would work based on reviews. Didn't realize when I bought it that it was shipping from China. No problem as I'm use to longer lead times, but was very suprised when it was deliveered in a few weeks. Shipping experience I would give this a 5 start. Installed the unit and that is when everything went bad. Really bad. Got it running and followed the instructions (instructions were poorly localized, although exceptable 5 years ago with stuff coming straight from China, but now I'd expect it to be perfect), but the water would never heat to temperature. Then the power surge would get so high that it would cause my inverter to trip. So took it out and tried to return it. Was surprised that they would accept my return (not uncommon for Chinese orders to not accept returns) but shipping had to be prepaid. Went to the local USPS office and was told it would cost almost $50 to ship it. That was more then what I paid for it. Very disappointed. So, it's not like I'm out a lot of money and am pretty satisfied with the shipping but the product didn't work and the return policy was terrible. Unless you are a very confident plumber or electrician, stay away from this unit. Better to spend the extra money to buy something domestically with phone support and a proper return policy. ... show more

    • BURNED OUT IN LESS THAN 1 YEAR ...
Easy to install and worked great for about 6 months. Then quit. No reset button nor customer service. No temp control either. Not worth the money in my opinion.

I purchased this water heater for my small hair salon. I only have one sink so it is a perfect fit. It was easy to install and great on saving space. Only problem i have is when i want really hot water the pressure is not as strong. But i am pleased with my purchase 😁😁😁

    • Not bad, needs a better power source or built in inverter.
The product is perfect for LOW GPM. Used to replace old messed up camper water heater. Will heat very well with a low GPM. Turned the head half off so it's like a gentle rain and I Achieved 60+ Celsius heat. Has some small issues but it's right for the price. Buy some Teflon tape for joining it to your pex or pvc or metal piping. ... show more

This unit works well.. it hold about 1 cup of water. The water has to be running very very slow for it to be warm... (about 40). I wouldn't recommend for cold climates as the capacity is too small to bring the water to a good enough temp. Overall, it work just fine for me..
