  • Durable, reliable
Color: White
This is my second purchase of this item. It holds a lot of water, has not clogged in the years we've been using it (and I don't think we've cleaned it yet). Easy to use, not so heavy (I am not strong haha)

  • SPITS BROWN!
Color: White
UPDATE: when I first got this occasionally it would spit a little bit of brown out. I thought this was maybe just residue left over from manufacturer. Recently, I've had to steam a number of reenactment dresses. Suddenly the thing is spitting Brown constantly. We have a whole home water filtration system and all my other electronics have no issue. It's the consistency of syrup and the color of molasses. In desperation I ran it through with a white vinegar and water mixture as you would a coffee maker. It appeared to work well for the next few dresses. Then, it's spitting Brown again. So I attempted that again hopefully just to get through this event. Did not work at all. I even used a needle to get what looked like brown residue out of the holes before I started again. I'm having to hand wash massive ball gowns in the tub where it spit this brown all over them. It's infuriating! I've never owned a steamer before, but I absolutely love this one! I didn't think the ability to hold it horizontal instead of just vertical was important until I used it on a massive tulle skirts. What was needed to get the wrinkles out of it was actually to lay it on the ironing board and use the steamer like an iron. You can't actually iron it but using the steam vertically with a slight pressure worked like magic. It was difficult to get a picture though. Though not tiny, it is easy to pack and travels well. On a regular cotton button-up dress shirt it doesn't work as well as an iron, but it does a great job on polos, polyester Blends, and t-shirts. I've attached pictures where I've done half of the shirt in about 10 to 15 seconds. They were accidentally left in the dryer, then put in a laundry basket with weight piled on top of it. The wrinkles were quite set. Do be careful though, part of the magic of this is an extremely hot Steam. The top of the head will get warm, of course the plate the steam comes out of will burn you, and the steam itself can burn you even from several inches away. Would buy again in a heartbeat. ... show more

  • Amazing for light or thin fabrics!
Color: White
I recently received this item and it works very well on light fabrics, and is less effective on cotton or linen. It will 100% remove most wrinkles on polyester, rayon, thin modal, silk. For light thin cotton, it takes out the large creases, but leave these micro wrinkles--enough to be polished, but not crisp like the dry cleaner. SILK: excellent 5/5 stars. although it infuses so much steam, you must wait a few minutes to dry on hanger, b/c if you lay it down it will wrinkle immediately. I was able to steam several crepe de chine silk dresses and tops. It takes 2-3min to steam a long silk dress, 1 min to steam a silk blouse. I could steam 5-7+ items with 1 fill. COTTON: removes major wrinkles, but fabric not crisp. Similar to fresh out of dryer but not as crisp as dry cleaners or iron. You can easily use 1/2 or 3/4 of reservoir for 1 men's shirt or a long dress. Can do 1-2 items on single fill. I tried this on a thin cotton voile top and a dress shirt. this took more time to pass over segments. It's personal choice on wrinkles vs effort. For effort vs. ironing, I'd probably choose steamer, but results aren't as good. Linen--again, similar to cotton. It will not make your item crisp, ever. Just gets the major wrinkles out to look casually presentable. I'd probably prefer ironing here. As others have exalted, I've doubled my wardrobe because I can finally wear things I was too lazy to iron before work. AMAZING. ***I hope it lasts as the other reviews have had concerns on durability and rusting. I will update if these issues arise. ... show more

  • Excellent steamer!
Color: White
The media could not be loaded. You can see from my video how quickly this takes wrinkles out! We use it every single day and it has held up well for years! It never leaks and it warms up in less than 30 seconds! I highly recommend this!

  • Works Great, Feels High Quality
Color: White
I have used this on a linen shirt, a cotton shirt, and a synthetic material jacket (plasticy organza). It worked as well as I had hoped! Spent a few minutes on each item and they ended up looking great! The steam seems pretty strong and it does remove the wrinkles well. You do need to hold it close, basically against the fabric with or without using the little brush cover that comes with it. The plasticy organza took the most effort for me to steam, due to the natural of the fabric. But I am happy to say it actually improved from looking unwearable and squashed to fluffy and mostly smooth. Very good! The steamer sputtered upon first use, but that's to be expected for the first time. I just aimed it toward a towel and after a few seconds, there were no more water droplets and it was only steam from there out. On the next items, the steamer worked perfectly without sputtering/spraying any water droplets. It is not a petite thing so if you're looking for something tiny, this isn't it. But, it's still a fine size to travel with if it's important for you to have a steamer. (I chose this model because it was not tiny. I wanted a good size reservoir and this has proven to be a good choice.) So I'm pleased! I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a good handheld steamer. *I have only been using distilled water because we have super hard water and I don't want to risk it but if you have soft water you may be able to use tap water. *The only thing that I think could improve is the cord is loose like a normal appliance- it would be nice if it wrapped inside on the bottom like most irons do nowadays. That's just my preference though. ... show more
