These are a fraction of the size of the Leca that is most commonly used for Hydroponic plantings. I very much like the texture of these, as it is very similar but finer than the regular Leca. It feels like it is a ceramic structure as well. The pastel colors make a delightful accent for top dressing potted plants and to add a fresh element in the bottom of terrariums for drainage. The example I included is a limited use, but I will be making a more layered one soon, with these as the false bottom. I plan to use these in my glass cuttings vases too.
