I have used this mostly as a kneeler. After approximately 10 uses, the plastic that the pads are attached to which is screwed to the metal frame has broken. I have not been very rough while kneeling, it seems just by putting my weight on the pad(over the screw) was enough to break the plastic. I weigh 195 lbs, so in my opinion this product will NOT hold up with ordinary use an$ therefore would recommend not purchasing. If I could give it zero stars for sturdiness, I would! ... show more

Seem s like all of these kneelers , no matter who they are sold by are the same. I purchased for $55, thinking it was a higher quality. the welds on the tubing are the poorest I have ever seen on any product. Actually shocked a company would put out something like this. Sloppy, splattered partial weld and terrible tack welds. Made for 330 lbs., I doubt this will last long at all if much weight put on it. A $19 product, maybe? ... show more

When I received it I noticed it was lighter than my previous one and not as sturdy but I was still please until I used it. This was a birthday present for my husband and he was really happy with the bench, but now it’s useless. It holds him securely and allows him to garden without coming in and having severe knee pain from kneeling on the hard ground.     • Brittle Plastic Seat Frame Hidden Under Foam
Size: Style A
The frame is absolutely sturdy, foldable. I bought this bench a year ago. Unfortunately, what you can't see is the flimsy plastic seat/kneeler frame under the foam pads. It's almost as flimsy as a bed mattress would be if it were held up with plastic straws. The first time I kneeled on it, the bench made a cracking noise. I ignored it. A year later, the foam cushions were falling through the frame. The wobbly seating was dangerous. I took the whole thing apart. Remove the six seat screws and what you have is a plastic criss-cross insert hidden between the sides of the steel frame. The foam kneeling and sitting cushions are lightly tacked to the plastic, not the steel frame. It is highly likely that this flimsy seat is going to disintegrate over time. Eventually, mine cracked down the length of the seat and in eight other places. It no longer even held the foam cushions in place, let alone support the weight of a person. Because the frame was still very sturdy and I had a friend with a circular saw, replacing the crumbling plastic insert with a solid piece of wood and six longer seat screws was quick and easy. If you don't have an electric saw and 3/4" scrap wood, you most likely will have to throw the whole bench/kneeler away once the plastic cracks. Giving this product a generous two stars since the manufacturer opted for such cheap materials for the all-important kneeler/seat area. ... show more
