I purchased qty 2 - 4'x8' grids. Hooked them to the same water line with a Y splitter, connected them to a 150ft garden hose, then ended it at my house with a solar powered water timer. This is my first experience with a garden irrigation system, and now that my first growing season is coming to a close I can honestly say that I really enjoyed the product. What I learned: * Connecting two 4x8 ft grids to one garden hose reduces the overall water pressure. This can cause certain areas to not get the proper watering. I fixed this by placing a couple bricks under the grid, lifting the grid and allowing the water to reach further. * Not all the outlet holes in the tubing put water out at the same pressure, you can fix this by identifying the holes not putting water out, then heating a thin metal wire then using the wire to mold a more open hole in the plastic tubing. * even with qty 2 - 4x8ft grids, a lot of water will come out. In my case, I let the water run for 2 minutes, twice a day. Next season I will do less. * the system is heavy enough to not need to tie it down to the ground, you really can just put it on the ground , it wont move or be blown away. Overall if your new to irrigation systems like me, looking for a ready "out-of-the-box" experience, then this is exactly the product you should start with. Highly recommended! ... show more

Previously, I would lay my own poly supply line and emitter hose. Came across these and decided to give them a try. They are not cheap, but the quality of the material seems very durable, more rigid than typical poly tube. Looks like it should hold up over time. The raised planter beds, also purchased on Amazon, were reviewed separately. I made two 8x8 beds out of three 4x4 kits. In that instance, I purchased the 4x8 irrigation grid. In hindsight, I now wish I would have installed two 4x4s in the 8x8 planter. This would've afforded better control over watering. When the 4x8 grid is installed, it will run 32 separate squares and you cannot control them individually. This means that seasonally, when half the bed may be planted, you're still watering all 32 grids. Had I installed two 4x4s on separate hose bibs I could turn one off in transition between seasons and operate the other without wasting water. Water supply is easily modulated up or down by using the faucet on the hose bib. Be aware, that if you put this system on your irrigation clock, as I did, that water pressure is variable depending on the time of day. This is because other demands on your irrigation system will cause the pressure to drop. Would buy again. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love the way the square foot garden assemble works to water my gardens evenly and efficiently. It was easy to assemble and set up. I live in Phoenix and needed a more efficient way to water. My gardens are 4’x4’. I bought two sets of them for my vegetable gardens and plan on buying three more for my flower gardens. I wanted to wait until I installed the grid to write a review, because well, you never know. This beautiful little squirt though sure does the trick! It sounds like I am joking, but literally – my bed has NEVER been wetter. Incredibly even distribution of squirting, exactly when I want it, where I want it. I used to have a soaker hose for my garden which didn’t ever really hit the spot. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! It can be added to any garden but obviously works perfectly with Garden in Minutes easy to assemble garden beds. They come in all different shapes and sizes as well and you can add on if you decide down the road you want more goodies to come home to. I put this in over the top of growing tomato plants and seeds, but it wasn't a problem. It does such a good job watering the whole bed that it works with what I already planted. The grid itself definitely took some elbow grease to assemble, but I found that wiggling the tubes vigorously as you're pushing them together really helped. I'm hoping to buy more of these in the future, once I set up my new raised beds for fall planting. ... show more

If you are into "Square Foot Gardening", the Garden In Minutes watering grids are designed and function extremely well. We have raised vegetable garden beds that we were watering with spray heads that worked fine when the plants were small but provided very irregular watering when they got bigger.
