Bought this for digging out the fence post, though it was not intended for it(was not that effective for the work due to the size). It got the work done and saved me lot's of physical work. When it arrived it was shorter than I had expected but does the job well. Definitely want a higher power drill. So far has held up despite roots, sticks, old straw mulch, doesn't skip a beat. If you always wanted to try it, it's worth it!

This drill bit is very heavy duty and did not bend or warp or chip when drilling through very rocky mountain dirt. Numerous times my drill would bog down or stop when encountering a large rock in the hole I was digging in. I was using this bit to drill holes to place termite bait stakes into. I am very happy with the quality and durability. The end of the drill bit that attaches to the drill is square which prevents slippage in the drill.
