Package arrived intact and all in one piece from the store that fulfilled the order, shoutout to them! As many other reviewers have said, this is one of the best valued for the price box that GW has put together in forever. Coming from 40k, these models are absolutely gorgeous and a treat to put together! Some of the push parts are a little tough but I would say 90% of them go together easily and fit tight. Just be aware that it is a LOT of models... I have the next few weeks scheduled for painting everything by myself! The fine detail, ESPECIALLY on the Kruelboyz, are impeccable. Incredibly happy with everything the box came with, and with 4th edition right around the corner, this is an excellent start for both armies included!     • Best quality/amount of models to paint for the price
I cannot speak to how these pieces perform in an actual game, but for those into the hobby aspect of painting and assembling miniatures, this is the box to start with. I recently caught the Warhammer bug as a hobby but so far only for the art of assembling and painting the miniatures. After purchasing the starter set with paint and brushes I quickly wanted more models to satiate my hunger for the hobby. After hours and hours of research I found that this box originally retailed at $200 and everyone thought it would be sold out, low and behold they had a large surplus and these are now selling for almost half. For about $120 after tax you are getting basically $2 a miniature for GW models which is unmatched. The details of these models are so much fun to paint and admire, plus they are push fit which is extremely helpful for beginners. I would start with a starter set, but if you have caught the bug, this is the absolute best price per model you can get and the quality is amazing. ... show more

    • Outstanding Value for the Serious Gamer and Figure Artist
While I've been known to complain about GW's figures and pricing, I have to say that AoS Dominion is one Heqq of a bargain for the sheer number of high quality figures contained in the set. I'm not much of a gamer, but as a professional grade miniature artist, who has been collecting fantasy and historical figures since the 1970s, these figures are going to delight artists who want something different to build and paint. I was working on a Fyreslayer army for a client, but with permission I'm starting to assemble some of these figures and do some test painting. There are existing Orruk figures from GW that I can use as examples before actually building these new figures. I strongly urge people buying this to look at some of the fan sites for detailed reviews, as the assembly sequences can be confusing for beginners or younger players. The sculpting of the figures is as good as anything out there; far better than the dreck being pushed by Gale Farce 9's D&D resin figures, and more detailed than the WizKids line of figures. (I also collect those figures, as they are a bargain). My only complaint is that I am going to have to wait months for the new Orc figures to appear from GW, if they follow their usual schedule of releases. In the meantime, I'll be building and painting some of the best figures that GW has EVER put out. Thank you, GW! ... show more

    • Amazing Value - Great Quality - Easy Build and Play
I have to disagree with the person who rated this one star. Coming from Warhammer 40K, and still fairly new so I have no emotional or “fan-boy” attachment to this - I think the quality is so much better. These models look amazing, there are no cheap mold lines - most of it is “push fit” and you can glue to make it stuck together even better. At its current price, it’s a great value, because you get TWO 1300 point armies. That’s enough to start a “big-boy” game, right out of the box(obviously you have to build it at least). The new Rulebook comes with it, beautiful quality. So much lore and details. Sure you can buy it separately, but hey it’s included. Honestly, you can sell the other army that you won’t use - there’s no big deal. It’s a new edition and it has everything you need to get started with the new edition. ... show more

    • This is how you start collecting
This is by far the best value you're going to find to get into age of Sigmar, not only are the models in the box more than enough of a deal to make it worth the price on top of that you get an actual full-on rule book with this box as well. It would take three start collecting boxes for most of the factions to get to the amount of points you get for both of these armies from this box. Cannot recommend enough definitely a great place to start for either of these armies, or just to get into Warhammer age of Sigmar all together. ... show more

This is a great deal for 60 models and the core rulebook the warscrolls are also very convenient. It was a lot of fun building these models. 4 stars due to misprints in my core book. Would recommend for beginners.

    • Excellent Starter Set
As someone who was looking to get into Warhammer Age of Sigmar, I couldn’t fathom the value to be found in this set. You basically get close to two full armies out of it- one ork, one Stormcast. And even if you don’t plan to play the game, as a tabletop gamer I can also speak to these minis as excellent figures for a TTRPG campaign. If you’re on the fence about getting into the game, THIS is the set to buy. Even if you decide the game isn’t for you, the miniatures will hold value or can be used for other activity. ... show more
