  • A Perfect Power Supply for High-Performance Builds!
Style: RGB750-PRO-JP
I recently upgraded my PC with this 750W power supply, and it’s been a fantastic choice! The 80 Plus Gold Certification is a standout feature—delivering 90% or higher efficiency under typical loads has noticeably reduced heat output and saved me on energy costs. The ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 readiness is a future-proof dream. It easily handles power excursions, making it fully compatible with my NVIDIA 40-series GPU. The included 12VHPWR cable was a convenient addition and made installation hassle-free. The use of 100% Japanese capacitors gives me confidence in the long-term reliability of this PSU. Paired with the peace of mind provided by the 5-year warranty, it’s clear this is a high-quality product built to last. As someone who values aesthetics, the ARGB SYNC is a game-changer. The lighting effects blend perfectly with my motherboard’s software, elevating the overall look of my rig. The whisper-quiet 140mm fan is another huge plus—keeping my system cool without the annoying noise. Finally, the fully modular design makes cable management a breeze, keeping my build clean and optimized for airflow. This PSU checks all the boxes: performance, reliability, and style. If you’re building a high-performance rig, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • A couple years later
Style: RGB750-PRO-JP
This has solid performance, cable quality, ease of management and solid size for a psu. This has lasted me a long time with zero issues. Been used daily for the past few years.

  • Needed a New PSU for My new MSI Nvidia RTX 3070ti
I walked into MicroCenter the other day and would you believe it, they had 3000 series Nvidia GPUs in stock. So I bought an MSI Nvidia RTX 3070ti for my rig. The first thing I did when I went home was go to a PSU calculator website to see if the EVGA 600 Bronze would be enough. It was fine for my Intel i7-9700KF CPU on an MSI Z390A-Pro MB running with an MSI Nvidia GTX 1660ti. But I wanted to make doubly sure before I installed my new $1000 graphics card. And wouldn't you know it, when I ran expert mode and entered in all my peripherals, the EVGA wasn't enough. So I went onto Amazon to see what Amazon Prime would ship next day... To my surprise, they had a highly-rated, value-priced Gamemax 750W aRGB 80+ Gold on sale that could arrive next day. So I went for it and am I surprised and elated at how it just fit into my rig powering all my components with no hiccups. It's quiet and the aRGB fan complements my rig's lighting to the point that you can't tell that they're not all synced up unless you look really, really closely. So PSU's are the unsung heroes of computer rigs. They do what they need to do day-in and day-out. Nobody notices them until they're not working. So since I just installed the Gamemax 750, I don't have much else to say other than it works and works well. Now only time will tell if this is a quality purchase. I will say that I'm pretty confident given the large number of positive reviews. Needless to say, I'm happy with the purchase and look forward to many years of fully-powered computing. ... show more

  • PSU is nice; not so much the cables
Style: RGB850-WHITE
I like the PSU itself and the RGB works well with Mystic Light (MSI). The cables are not attractive - the PSU is built to be featured visibly - it's white and has RGB, but the cables are VERY ugly and unkempt. I addressed this by using an extension to the mobo but the cables coming out of the PSU are still visible and still ugly. GameMax needs to upgrade its cable game! ... show more

  • I LOVE this Power Supply!! Great Bang for Your Buck and is Silent as a Prius! 10/10
I came across this power supply on Amazon since my local computer part store was completely out of 800 W power supplies. After reading the reviews for this power supply and other ones they offer, I decided to give it chance and the rest is history! To give context...I was using a 10 year old 800 W power supply for my rig and that thing was LOUD. I almost want to compare it to a jet engine because of how loud it would run. However for this power supply, it's easily cut down the fan noise by 85% - 90% and I can actually sleep at night now if I leave it on to download games! Haha. In regards to performance, it holds up extremely well when I play graphic demanding games on my rig. I've been playing a lot of Battlefront 2 lately on max settings as well as Division 2. I have had zero issues while gaming period. No crashing, choppiness, or hiccups. Although I first was unsure about the build quality or material, it has held up perfectly! Finally, I love the color!!! It fits perfect for the case on my gaming rig. All in all I'm very impressed! Definitely would consider purchasing another power supply from this brand again. :) ... show more
