One of the corner buttons is always on a pressed position so it's not actually useable. Definitely not worth the price. Honestly I feel a bit ripped off. I wasn't expecting a perfect condition piece but something useable like refurbished usually means.

I am beyond impressed with my purchase. It’s exactly what I wanted, but upon doing more research, if you are buying this, don’t worry about the color so much as the Model #. I wish I had done a little more research and had gone with the AGS101 because that brighter screen DOES MATTER. I am happy with my purchase however because 1st generation consoles are often becoming more rare as they age. Amazon made a GRAND effort to clean it up, some scratches will never be able to be wiped away and that’s okay, I understand. The biggest issue, which I wouldn’t even say it’s an issue, is the label on the back definitely shows age, and can look sort of filthy. But it’s all good and it WORKS PERFECT. ... show more

The console was in great condition and appears to function just fine. It read my Pokémon FireRed without trouble. The only thing I would say is that the D-pad is not as I hoped. My character sometimes moves down instead of right, for example, but if I adjust how I press the buttons, it works just fine. Takes some getting used to. The console ran well. Unfortunately, after about 2 weeks, it stopped taking power. I tried most of the more effective troubleshooting methods for this issue, including opening up the system and attempting to find the issue, to no avail. I found that certain sellers on eBay offer better quality control for this sort of thing, so I would recommend going there. ... show more
