I recently purchased this dye paint kit, and overall, I find it to be a very nice kit. The inclusion of an easel makes it incredibly user-friendly, enhancing the painting experience. I appreciate the numbered system and the clear guide provided, which is particularly helpful for beginners. It precisely indicates which colors to use for each part of the painting. The quality of the paints is commendable – they lack any unpleasant odor and dry quickly. My only concern pertains to the brushes included. All three brushes are quite thin, and I would have preferred some larger ones for a variety of strokes. If there were a range of brush sizes, it would have been perfect. I'm currently pregnant and it's been a really rough pregnancy so far. I'm not bed-ridden per say, but I'm barely active; that being said, I've taken to a lot of random crafty things like crocheting and the like. I'm a big fan of Galison puzzles, so when I saw this paint by number I was instantly smitten. The design is really pretty, and has been really easy to work with. There are a couple smaller areas to paint, but three different brushes are included and one is pretty tiny so it works for the tight spots. I love this very giftable paint by number set. It comes in a substantial box (not the flimsy sets I grew up with), a keepable wood easel that is literally one screw to assemble, tighten the wing nut and you’re done. Beautiful, colored, illustrated poster and an impressively sturdy backboard. I have not used the paints yet, but the plastic cases they come in are also much sturdier than ones I’ve used in the past. This is so nice. I recommend for birthday or mother's day gift! No one likes spending an extra 20 minutes getting everything together. I love that this has close to all you need for painting. I was able to sit down and zone out with some TV and my painting when everyone went to bed haha and it was nice to feel like I accomplished something for me alone. Love it! Find the time to finish the painting in one go. Unless you have a larger brush you will be making a lot of brushstrokes. I found it relaxing to put on a movie and paint the numbers.
