I have a powerful, heavy duty, 20v drill. Heavy, and powerful enough to twist screws off. But for most day-to-day tasks, I needed a lighter tool to use. This cordless drill is light, has variable speed/torque, easy to hold, reverse direction button is well placed, and it is powerful enough for most jobs. After several jobs over a week, still lots of battery power. The light that illuminates the work area is a little misplaced being on the battery area, but it does ok at lighting the work area (would like it better on the top of the drill). There is also an indicator showing battery charge. Nice but like most people, I will probably keep using the tool without watching it, until the charge goes to zero, then recharge. The USB charging cable will work with any USB power source and will be very convenient. The included box of screws, drill bits, and screwdriver tips was an added bonus. I've had this drill for 3 years now and it's still going strong. I have a plug-in drill for the big jobs, but this is the one I use 90% of the time for household and hobby projects. Pros: * small and light, great in tight spaces * easily drills 3/8" holes in plywood. * The battery holds a charge for months or more. * USB-C means there is no charger to lose! Not cons, just understand the limits of what you're buying: * Struggles driving long 1/4" screws into wood or plastic. * Not enough torque for hole saws or other large cutters. ... show more

The torque is ok. The battery is ok. It's lightweight yes. Easy to use. It gets the job done for about an hour. If the battery was small enough to detach this would be a better drill. For the money it's a good drill. Charging time is about 2 hours for full charge.

Good build, plastic solid, overall very good quality. But not very powerful torque, and battery life is about 1 hour of intense use. Might not for industrial work, but great for home. Compact. If you read about "not charging" - use included cable (!!!). Some regular usb-c cables doesn't work by some reason.... I assume connector is a bit deep in drill's body ... show more

If you are looking for a Workhorse drill or screw gun do not buy this one. But if you're looking for one that works around the house for light duty it is absolutely the most perfect drill you would ever want to use. It is lightweight but powerful. It comes with drill bits and two sizes of standard and Phillips bits. Uses a USB charger and charges very quickly. And for those reviewers who think that a USB charge drill will give you the same power as a 12 volt removable battery think again. You are trying to compare apples to watermelons. The drill works and it's fairly powerful for a battery powered drill but it's pointless to charge via a type c connector but then only work with a specific 5v power brick.
